  1. I'd like to download one as I've never seen these, being in the UK but do you have to be on Facebook if so that's out.
  2. Very interesting, I'd like to see in the box at the size (scale) and parts to build the truck.
  3. Apologies guys. Not having used podcasts or even knowing what they are shows my ignorance, perhaps because we (my wife and I ) are over 70 years of age. Yes people do use i phones ( we have old 'dumb' phones that we use to call/text our son's, we open them perhaps once a week) and what is called social media but it allows cowards to insult various area's of our social make up and not get caught.
  4. Most of us in the UK don't do any form of what we call anti-social media, or have I phones. As a pensioner I find them too expensive, and mobile phones don't rule our lives. Interesting to view on TV both F1 and Wimbledon Tennis this last week showing nearly 25% of spectators 'gawping' at their phones, not watching/interacting with the sport that they have paid high prices to visit. Sorry for my rant.
  5. Just tagged on ebay should be here by Monday 5th July.. I saw lots of them on track in the day as a marshal at Silverstone!
  6. Thanks guys, yes our youngest son had an early 325i in red of the same model number as the car depicted. He came in from work one day, we live on a hill and the handbrake goes to the front wheels, he normally parks it with the front wheels at 45 degrees to the kerb. But this day he didn't! As the front brake discs cooled down it ran across the road into the back of a neighbours work van parked outside his house. The rear van doors opened inwards! Matt's BMW was embedded in the back and was written off by the insurers and he got next to nothing for it! 12 moths later someone phoned up for the log book, the crash damage cost less than the pay out and was back on the road it sold at a dealers for 20 times more than the insurance write off quote!
  7. The Meastro was produced between 1982-1987 by British Leyland. As our 1965 Beetle was a 'C' reg that must be 1983 I think.
  8. As an ex-rally marshal in the day I'm looking forward to the end product, whilst watching the progress in the mean time!
  9. Thanks Larry, yes as I've said earlier, a nice kit.
  10. Cheers Bruce, I just love decalling!
  11. Thanks Larry, as per my previous post $55 is too expensive for me as a pensioner. Can I buy just one magazine please, as I've never seen one? Do you have an old digital one I can view please?
  12. Thanks Helmut. Yes the Williams and March failed and the Tyrrell was a winner. Yes Jody win and since retiring has a farm in the south of England.
  13. Thanks guys as an ex marshal at the Silverstone circuit this was one of the groundbrakers in 6 wheel technology, only Tyrrell had 4 wheels at the front. March and Williams had four wheels at the back but neither of the others raced, due to various power down transmission and grip problems!
  14. The front section with the four wheels/suspension and the rear radiator piping, kinks easily and needs shortening and warming up(hot water) when connecting to the radiators. I also had a problem getting the rear wheels to line up in a forward straight line, both wanted to be splayed out towards the front and tuck in at the back. Looking back in the early days of Tamiya F1 cars I preferred the 1/10th-1/12th scale, easier to build but now very expensive.
  15. It's been on the shelf for at least ten years, the near local store closed about 10 years ago. Without decals.. And with decals.. The typical Tamiya decals were perfect!
  16. I've just checked the Subscribe and only the USA shows as a country to ship to. OK I've just noticed the 'International' and clicked on it and the price has gone from $30 to $55, too much for me as a pensioner, shame.
  17. How much are these mags to me in the UK please?
  18. Yes that's a 2 CV Charleston version.
  19. Maserati Levante driving through town..
  20. Two more kits that never appeared in the UK, that we should have had, superb!
  21. No Daniel, I supported Foggy for years, being a race marshal at Silverstone over 20+ years. Chatting to the likes of Barry Sheene, Steve Parish etc in the day, plus both national and world superbike guys and the MotoGP guys as well. Great days!
  22. Thanks David, yes it brightens up modeling by modifying!
  23. It's a shame Tom that tolling on numerous kits has been destroyed, when we could enjoy them today.
  24. I like the T Bone Stake and the Patent Pending, kits we never got in the UK!
