  1. Right now there are 4 different versions on E-bay. 3 Blue Cars - '63 Mecon Racing Nassau Speed Week, '64 Sebring Penske/Hall and '65 Sebring and the White 5001 Kit. Ed
  2. Roger, that looks to be a Fun project. If you Google Merlin v12 car there's also a Roadster and a 55 Chevy out there that might interest ya. Ed
  3. Nice build there Dale and Good catch on the Price! I gave the Kit a "semi curbside" because it has the top half of the engine there if you want to wire it. There's really not much more interior detail to add to the 2D. Some indicatior lamps on the "Dash", a T-handle under it and several lamps and switch's in the square area to the right of the Steering Wheel. Ed
  4. Jon, you have to get 2 so you can build both the Nurburgring and the Lemans Cars Ed
  5. Rob, have your Uncle contact Fred Sterns, I know he buys Collections: http://www.fredsmodelworldonline.com/ Ed
  6. Here ya go Chris. A quick Google netted another source and they have pics of the parts and instructions! http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10128549 Ed
  7. Fujimi has repopped the Modelers Chaparral 2D kit. So although not a Cheap Kit it's less than what I've seen these go for on E-Bay!! http://www.hlj.com/product/FUJ12389 Now if only someone'd repop the Cox Chaparral 2, the Formula Canada 2G and Bill Jorgensens Chaparral 2K..... - Hey I'm allowed to Dream, Right Ed
  8. Hi Joe Looks like you've got yourself a 50's Offy Powered Sprint Car. Google - offenhauser "miracle power" sprint car and you'll be able to I.D. the Car. As to the Model there appears to be a makers name and model number on the floor of the cockpit. Someones name with the number 038 below it. They ought to lead you to better info on the model and it's history. Ed
  9. So That was a Meeting and not a Show Wow. I couldn't believe it when I went to pg. 2 and the first image (IMG_6600) was a model of Bob Tullis's '64 Tempest aka "Grey Ghost" from the Trans-Am series. Talk about something for Everyone. Ed
  10. Hi There Matt The only Stock interior items you need to worry about are the interior panels. The Donohue, Penske, Sunoco Javelin used a flat plate of Aluminum for a Dash, the Seat (only one on a TransAm Car) was a thinly padded Racing Seat and the Steering Wheel was a 3 chrome spoke (with 3 holes in each spoke) with thick rubber coating wheel like one would have picked up at any Kmart Auto Parts Dept of the time. Ed
  11. That came out Great Curt. You ought to send pic's to Jay Leno, Who know's what might happen Ed
  12. Yea, What everyone else said AMAZING Ed

    Ed

  14. Hi There Bill

WOW a "Miss Deal" Vette! Sure why not. Shoot me your Address and once you get the Rat Packer you'll have mine. I prefer to do it that way because sometimes it takes me a while to get to the Post Office.

  15. A CD would be Just Fine. How much $ do you need for it?

    Ed

  16. Well at least one of them were! That's the only Union Kit I have that is Shrink wrapped. I returned to the Hobby ~4 years ago after a 40+ year "break" , so I've never bought a New Union Kit. But I do know the Ferrari 330 P4 was released at least twice. Once prior to the UPC Bars and once after, Your's is the pre coded release. I can tell because the outline Border color is silver/grey instead of a gold, bronzeish grey. This picture shows the difference. Ed
  17. Hi There Mark. Nice Hual there. The Union kits did come shrink wrapped, it's just Very Few stayed that way long Ed
  18. #12 The Electric Bus looks to me like a, Urban Mobile Shower. #17 The Kia Pop Looks like it's already been in a Roll Over Accident. Finally, #22 the Whoop. Being a Male over 50 it sure seems was designed and named for a Vehicle you'd drive home after a Physical Ed
  19. There's 3 Kit's an outfit named Formula Canada <now out of business> put out (that I know of) I'd REALLY Like to get. Kits of the Shadow DN-2 + 4 and the Chaparral 2G. Hope springs eternal Ed
  20. Cato ..................................................WOW Ed
  21. Whoooops. Of Course You're right. Thanks for the Memory Reset. Ed
  22. Interesting subject Charlie, but you forgot Americas Real Compact from that era! The Nash Metropolitan. Ed
  23. John, I hope you get it and post pic's of the kit. I've been tempted to try and get one but the combination of the "off" scale (1:28) and lack of detailed images has left me off to the side lines. Ed
  24. Hi Mark Although you'd need to split the back, the Bench out of the Revell '66 Chevelle Wagon drops right in and you don't need to trim a thing. Ed
  25. Excellent Job there Chuck. Ed
