Both (there may be others) seem like incredible knock-offs of AMT kits. How did they do that (legally and in plastic)?

Try being a Raider fan over the past twenty years, especially regarding player acquisition. As fans we watched our "brain trust" take wild risks on any number of "hidden gems" while dozens of players we could've had went on to highly productive careers with other teams, some in our own division. It got to the place where ESPN couldn't wait to see what idiocy we would pull off every time the draft came around. In 2019 we had amassed three 1st round picks through trades etc. That should've set us up for future greatness, but of those three, only Josh Jacobs is a starter (they did not renew his contract after his 4th year), Abrams has been traded and only God knows why Ferrell is still on the team. Last year's team, led by an interim coach, made the playoffs. This year's team, led by a former Belichick assistant, features multiple player "upgrades" including newly acquired WR Davante Adams (a rare quality "get" by Raiders' staff) but probably won't break .500. We are close to setting a record for the number of games lost despite leading by double digits at halftime. Junior college coaching staffs make better decisions, and have proven they can adapt to changes the other team makes. Us? No. Then again, as a player, would you be inspired by this owner? From what I've seen, he'd be out of his depth as an assistant manager at Chuck E Cheese. But I'm not bitter...

Heard he has some, so I looked up his site to see them. The tread looks spectacular, but the wheel openings look too big for any scale 15" wheel I've got. Anybody have pics of these they've used on a build?

So why would you use an apostrophe on the word "meme's"?

One of my German teachers in college was born and raised near the German-Swiss border. She became highly proficient in English and eventually came to the US to teach German. She recounted how her first stop after NYC was in Atlanta where she felt entirely out of her element. Nothing in all her years of education had prepared her for the heavy Southern dialect she encountered there. I'm glad she persevered as she was one of my favorite teachers.

This has been irritating me for some time, so I'm glad to see someone is finally taking it on. Here's what's embarrassing: Over the years we've had any number of foreign members (mostly European from what I could tell) and they never had any issues using apostrophes correctly, despite the fact that English may not have been their first language, while some American posters mystified me by using them in an almost random way. I've seen sentences with two plural nouns but only one had the (incorrect) apostrophe. What rationale were they using to make that decision? For those of us who learned to use apostrophes the correct way, so much of what we see posted looks as silly as someone typing a'u't'o'm'o'b'i'l'e's. Really don't get it.

Obviously your system works. I'll show my ignorance here: Why such a high pressure? I ask because most of the figures I've seen for airbrushing bodies use =/- 20 PSI.

Nice job on this. I thought AMT did a decent job on these, and I've got a few waiting to be built. I only got some basic assembly done on the first one (March 88C Dominos car) because there didn't seem to be a lot of pics/info available about the engine etc. Curious if you had any similar issues.

Thinking about making a change in phone and provider. Long story short, their lowest package rate for one phone is close to $100.00 a month. Anybody here a customer of theirs?

Every once in a while I come across a build that has incredibly well done hard lines (I assume beading wire) for things like fuel injection, and I'm curious if there are tools I can buy to get similar results, as opposed to winging it and ending up with a less than authentic appearance. Links would be appreciated if you have them.

Bottle cap indicates it's a lighter brown, but there don't seem to be a lot of kits painted with it when I search with Google Images. Love to see some pics if you've got 'em.

I do electronic payments on some accounts and the invoices occasionally end up in the Spam file, so I have to check everything over before dumping anything.

For the most part I like it, but there are some companies (Warby Parker, American Home Warranty etc) whose emails show up in my Spam section every day, despite my use of the "blocking" option. Do they have dozens of ways around the blocker? I'd like them to be permanently blocked, but that doesn't seem to be an option.

Got an older fridge that's been fairly reliable up to now. It used to keep things very cold, but over the last week or so things are only cool. The adjustment had been set at the highest point, so nowhere to go there. Is there some component that could be serviced to bring the lower temps back? I really can't spring for a new fridge at the moment.
