Snake45 Posted January 9, 2021 Posted January 9, 2021 We haven't seen the AMT '63 Vette roadster in many years. It should be brought back with ALL the optional tops--soft, hard, the clear top and the panel wagon top from the '67 issue, and the custom fastback from the '64.

Oldcarfan27 Posted January 11, 2021 Posted January 11, 2021 If Revell can release the pickups, why can't we get these? Any of them, with stock decals - Please!
moparfarmer Posted January 11, 2021 Posted January 11, 2021 All these requests for certain kits are nice and all but today its what will make money..You've got to be able to make various different models of certain kits to make money..The new Chevy II wagon sounds like there will be another version..The release of the 59 Imperial was one of one and did very well..Where I live in Canada it was very hard to find one..Moebius did well with their Hudson (which I don't know how because they are ugly) but they made several models out of one mold, same as the Ford trucks and the 55/56 Chrysler..Who knows, maybe someone will continue to make new molds..End of rant..
Matt T. Posted January 11, 2021 Posted January 11, 2021 MPC ‘69 Firebird/TA 2n1; with nice new box art, decal sheet, and white letter tires.

Let's not forget that we're not talking about making new molds here. This is about getting existing moulds out of storage and shooting some more plastic through them, so your break even point is a lot lower.

Well I am building this van from the 77 chevy van which is the same body and Im using some driveline parts from the plow truck kit. I did start a post in the Wip section a while back but is has been slow moving.

Mr. Metallic Posted January 12, 2021 Posted January 12, 2021 Stumbled upon a fact while researching elsewhere. Looks like this kit came out in 2007, and hasn't been reissued since. This would be easy money for Revell
iamsuperdan Posted January 12, 2021 Posted January 12, 2021 My tastes are definitely little different than most posted in this thread. Personally, I'd like to see the following. Tamiya: Audi quattro Coupe Ford Sierra XR4i / Sierra Cosworth RS5000 Mercedes C Class DTM cars (there are 5 of these in various liveries) Porsche 911 Turbo Flatnose Volvo 850 Turbo Estate Volvo 850 BTCC - both sedan and wagon Fujimi: Porsche Gembella Avalanche 911 Carrera 2/4/RS/Turbo/etc - 964 generation - there are at least 20 different versions, I'd buy any of them. Toyota Mk1 MR2
The Junkman Posted January 12, 2021 Posted January 12, 2021 Going out of the country: pretty much the entire Italeri Ferrari line. California Spyder, 250 SWB, 275 GTB and 275 Spyder N.A.R.T., Daytona and specifically the Daytona competition kit. Ferraris are always popular and these kits, while not perfect, come closer to accurate replicas. I'm thinking specifically the 250 SWB vs the Esci version.

Toyota Mk1 MR2 I would probably say yes to most of your list but a big definite YES on the Volvos. I have the BTCC wagon but I would love to get the sedan for a reasonable price and the Turbo Estate as well.

If the molds for the interior parts of the '65 Nova still exist, that one could be brought back. We have the chrome, the windows, the hood, and the body still has all the nameplates and trim; just need to "un-alter" the rear wheel openings, which shouldn't be too hard. Plop it all on the chassis from the new '63 Nova wagon, done deal!

I build both BTCC cars back in the day, but both were tossed along with almost everything else I had built. If only I knew then what I know now!

I actually have the Turbo Estate that I found in decent built condition some years ago at a kit show. Got it cheap, I had no idea that they were so valuable! I like oddball cars, and this one is cool.
robo37 Posted June 2, 2021 Posted June 2, 2021 It be nice if they would they havent been out in a while
Sledsel Posted June 2, 2021 Posted June 2, 2021 (edited) I could go for the Roadrunner for sure. The Monte would be cool but I think it became the SS later The Impala is cool, but I have several. I'd like to see these personally... Edited June 2, 2021 by Sledsel
Captain Spaulding Posted June 2, 2021 Posted June 2, 2021 I could go for the Monte and the Caprice, built the Caprice before back in the late 90s when it was rereleased.
catpack68 Posted June 2, 2021 Posted June 2, 2021 I would love to see that Wheeler Dealer Monte Carlo released but wasn’t that tool modified? I would like to see that MPC 71 Road Runner released too.
Richard Bartrop Posted June 2, 2021 Posted June 2, 2021 I was pleasantly surprised by Round 2 bringing back the 1932 Imperial convertible coupe, so how about the Stutz and the Thomas Flyer? Heck do the Bearcats TV version for the people who are into that sort of thing.
