Maserati 450S (Tipo 54). A late 50's sports racer. (extra photos)

Pretty much a box stock build of the Historic Racing Miniatures 450S.  I have added the Hasegawa photo etched wire wheels (the hardest part of the build was assembling these!!), added some internal chassis tubing in the cockpit and the filler caps to the rear deck.  Harold did a nice job modelling a generic 450S for the price.  It is curbside only but a LOT cheaper than the ProFil 24 release.

All I can say is, BEAUTIFUL!!!! wish people built more of these cars. Any chance of you building its competitors like Aston Martin, or Jaguars "C" type?!!

Dave that is absolutely gorgeous! :wub: I've always loved this car, and it seems a bit underrated compared to the Ferrari Testarossas of the same era.

I forgot that Harold made this one..........A few months back I went and bought the ProFil 24 one from Ed Cervo on eBay (ed427Vette), and  certainly would like to build it sometime. 

And yes, it was pricey! Most that I've paid for a kit in a loooooong time! :o
