At least they showed the models first, this time. I didna have to fast forward through all the diecast. I like 5 out of the six models. The Space 1999 Hawk is neat.

Ok...I see one big typo on the Charger box art..

LOL!.that's so bad it shouldn't have even made it through the first proof reader. Even Ray Charles would have noticed that.??

Not much I'm interested in.  Maybe the '66 Mercury to build as a "work car."  For some of those old molds, maybe R2 should consider a Work Car Series. Throw in the hard-hats from the old Gear Hustler, couple of tool/lunch boxes; ice chest and tools from the Meister Brau/Blazing Bison puller, etc.  A sheet of paper donut and fast-food bags and boxes (product tie-in, like Coke!), and Styrofoam cups to litter the floorboards. Etc.  Maybe even a sheet of weathering/rust ideas.  And this is why I don't work in Marketing...

Good to see the vintage Coke machine and dolly again. Back in 1997, AMT-ERTL put 2 of those same Coke machines and the dolly into the '50 Chevy pickup.

Round2 and that Coke license! Why don't they just issue Coke Delorean?
At least some of us could enjoy a chuckle.

"Work car" concept would work better if they made a ten-year-old Camry or Accord kit.

Ha!  Yep, my geezer-ness is showing.  In Southern California in the 1980's, those old boats from the Sixties were plentiful and dirt cheap.  Back in those pre-Internet days, I wasted many enjoyable hours poring over The Recycler and Auto Trader and dreaming.

I still remember passing a construction site one morning, when I saw some guys piling out of this: a '69 Mercury Marauder X-100.  The car was beat up and starting to rust, which is a shame.  Those were very rare cars.  Of course, some people will probably say they should have been not only rare, but non-existent...

Like these big boats of the '70s....think Air Trax has a resin kit of this one.

I like those big boats too of the '70's, and had to get VERY familiar with them as I had to learn to drive 'em in Driver's Ed as that's all there was. :D

Nothing like these little rinky-dink cars I see on the roads now for Driver's Ed! I sure wish I had something THAT small when it came to parallel parking for my driver's test!

I have one of those Air Trax Marauders, and it is very nice. I have already sourced a chassis for it, now I have to find a suitable full dress 429 for it. I may do mine as a '70, so that I can bookend it with my Cyclone and Cougar.

Ron, the more I look at that Marauder, the more I'm interested. As far as a chassis, would the Revell '70 Torino work for that with some tweaking? I have two of those '70's, but the first one I'll probably never build as I also have the "corrected" one that they redid a couple years ago. Also, doesn't that kit have the 429? I don't have it in front of me as it's buried somewhere on my third floor.

No, the '70 Torino was a unibody.  The right chassis and engine for it is the AMT '69 Galaxie XL, that's what I plan to use for mine.

Oh ok..........the full sizers were separate frame and body as that never changed. If I had to use that I guess that would work, but I simply hate all that molded in detail. I'd have to cut that chassis up and fabricate things to make it more appealing to me. Of course, if I could find a junker '68 chassis that would save me some work, but they can be as scarce as hens teeth.

That Ford/Merc perimeter frame goes back to '65, so the '65 Galaxie chassis could be a good starting point.  Steerable front wheels, separate rear axle and suspension (though the exhaust detail is molded as part of the chassis.

I'm surprised they aren't issuing the bulldozer in Coca-Cola livery.

Funny thing about that is I don't think this, (molded-in-Yellow), Bulldozer will have Caterpillar/CAT identification decals inside the box, because the costs for using the Caterpillar trademark/logo are more expensive than buying the rights to reproduce the Coca-Cola trademark/logos!
