I finished my restoration of this 1960 Mercury comet I picked up as a built kit at a Estate Sale. This car has special memories for me, My grandfather had one just like this around 1964-65 I was about 4 years old. We would take my grandmother Shopping while she was in the store my Grandfather would let me sit on his lap and I would steer the car around the parking lot while he would operate the pedals. Great Memories, the first vehicle I ever drove!

Beautiful restoration, The finish and the chrome trim look perfect. I like the base Black Wall Tire look.

Not a fan of this car, but wow, what a great restoration and outstanding workmanship. Nicely done and model on! B)

Same here about the car. But you did a fantastic job on it.

Very nice work. You did a beautiful job. I spent six years, from 1961 through 1967, riding around in a '61 Comet. My dad's first new car. Not a lot of differences between a 1960 and '61 Comet. I have a '61 promo I restored about 15 years ago or so, to look like my dad's Comet. It turned out nice. But no where as nice as yours. Good job.
