damodelguy az Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 used the 32 ford speedwagon kit, 34 ford sedan fenders, and 33 willys front. body was cut down middle to narrow it, and removed the bulge on its sides. nice to be back at it. hope yas enjoy 1
Phildaupho Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 Nice slice and dice job giving sort of a Hot Wheels vibe
alan barton Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 You've got some great proportions there, Glen. Now I know what to do with my spare Speedwagon body! The colour is a great match to a woody body. All in all a very believable street rod. Would I be correct in guessing you used the Revell Buttera 34 coupe fenders to rework the Willys units? Cheers Alan
DumpyDan Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 Great idea, turned out real nice. Good work, like the way you blended the Willys head light and fender to the 34 fenders....seamless. Beautiful work!
RAT-T Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 THAT LOOKS REAL NICE GLEN, I SAW THAT GREEN CAR IN PERSON AT A GOODGUYS SHOW IN NY, VERY COOL.
Modelbuilder Mark Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 Vey creative, and believable, nice work
espo Posted October 2, 2018 Posted October 2, 2018 Great looking conversion. The fender and body modifications look like the "kit" came that way. Excellent wood trim and paint.
damodelguy az Posted October 2, 2018 Author Posted October 2, 2018 thanx much guys, the conversion was dont with all AMT kit parts
Mr. Metallic Posted October 22, 2018 Posted October 22, 2018 I've always wanted to build this, inspired by that same green 1:1 build since i saw it at a Goodguys show in NY almost 20 years ago. Nice job on the conversion
OldTrucker Posted October 23, 2018 Posted October 23, 2018 Now that is just way too cool! Thanks for sharing this one!
misterNNL Posted October 25, 2018 Posted October 25, 2018 Great model woodie. Looks like the real car that inspired the build. Thanks for sharing.
