tbill Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 Wonderful build, you always seem to capture the essence of the real thing with your builds, blows my mind every time. Well done sir.
bobthehobbyguy Posted December 31, 2018 Posted December 31, 2018 Wow very well done. Ultra realistic. Very nice work.
SoDak1 Posted December 31, 2018 Posted December 31, 2018 I don't think I've seen a 1:1 Trans Am that gorgeous
Cardz Posted December 31, 2018 Posted December 31, 2018 That is a gorgeous TA. Brings back memories of cruising in buddies TA back in our day. Well done!
iBorg Posted December 31, 2018 Posted December 31, 2018 I have to admit, I had to look for hints it wasn't a real car. Great job!
Peter Lombardo Posted December 31, 2018 Posted December 31, 2018 Beautiful build.... the color is spot on. looks about as close to real as you will get. NICE!
Gerald Haney Posted December 31, 2018 Posted December 31, 2018 so real looking I had to double and triple take that pic under the hood. I thought I could almost smell it. W - O - W

Yahshu Posted January 1, 2019 Posted January 1, 2019 Thought I was looking at a 1:1 till I noticed no valve stems in the rims. Very well done.
Lorne Posted January 1, 2019 Posted January 1, 2019 I had to take a second look!! thought it was a real car!! Very Cool !! Natural light lets you know if the illusion is convincing!!
Jordan White Posted November 26, 2019 Posted November 26, 2019 I just saw this thread since I didn't realize this was the 1/16 kit until now! Do you have any pics of the engine before you put the body on? Also do you have a pic of the underside at all?
Safire6 Posted December 2, 2019 Posted December 2, 2019 Wow that is nice, love the color! Like everyone else said, looks like the real thing. I'm finishing up a 1:16 '84 Trans Am soon. It won't look as good as yours though.
Joe Handley Posted December 24, 2019 Posted December 24, 2019 Looks great! Who did you get the wheels and tires from?
disabled modeler Posted December 24, 2019 Posted December 24, 2019 Just stunning work ...beautiful build..! its a real masterpiece for sure.
Hawk312 Posted December 26, 2019 Author Posted December 26, 2019 Thanks guys! Sorry it has taken me so long to respond. Sorry, no other pics of the engine, or anything else for that matter, during the build. All I have are completed pics for some reason. The wheels are actually my drawing, printed out by shapeways, cast and copied, and then sent off to chrome. The tires came from an RC Lamborghini that I found cheap. Thanks!
