1930fordpickup Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 Wow this is nice. You sure do nice work.
espo Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 Beautiful looking build. Modelhaus sure had some nice wagon models to work with. The body color is very timely and the wood grain looks perfect.
cobraman Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 Nice ! You sure know your way around a model.
W-409 Posted January 20, 2019 Posted January 20, 2019 Wow! That's a very nice Mercury Longroof! As always you did an excellent job with the paint and finish. Always great to see these unique cars being built. I'm wondering how did you do the woodgrain on the sides? They look fantastic.
Renegade Posted January 20, 2019 Posted January 20, 2019 Really takes me back. Beautiful build. I really miss the wagons.

Paul Hettick Posted January 20, 2019 Author Posted January 20, 2019 If anyone has one of the Modelhaus Merc wagons, I had a better woodgrain decal set made for it. The ones supplied with the kit are vinyl, too much gloss, and tend to lift and bubble. Had new ones made in more of a satin finish peel and stick paper. Much more user friendly. The model pictured has the old vinyl decals, look close and you will see that the decal has a less than perfect finish. I have them available. PM me if interested.
RAMBENNA Posted January 20, 2019 Posted January 20, 2019 fantastic job, looks excellent, looks like a 1:1 car
Bucky Posted January 20, 2019 Posted January 20, 2019 Very sharp Mercury! Looks like the 1:1 all around!
Modlbldr Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 Very nice build of an unusual subject. I love seeing these builds that are not the norm. Great work. Later-
