Just ordered two of these orange ones... One to open and one to "play" with.... I love orange... Man, that's a good looking car.... Hoping they make some in 1/24 scale....

Picked up one of the orange ones @ Sams Club yesterday for less than $15, they even had the C8 Vette.

Please post that beside something for an idea of how small it really is.   Hopefully it will be interesting enough for a writeup.

Yep... I've found these on ebay, too... Good call using that $25 coupon.... Makes it a "no brainer"... I have got to get one of these along with the blue ones....

I just got my 2 orange ones in the mail, today... Again, I immediately got to work on the black rims... Just not into that...

I agree,  these and the C8s you showed us look so much better with the silver alloy wheels, than the black.

Here's my diecast birthday haul.   More photos of trucks later, in a separate post.  The Corvette has been covered, but I am going to try to detail the wheels while I look for an FM 69 Vette for wheels.   Also got a spraybooth but no need for a picture of it.  Same or similar to HIPguy's.

Very sharp, love the silver wheels!

I was researching yesterday to see if I needed to silver-spoke the wheels on my C8 Vette. Found an article that said they're definitely NOT offered on the C8, it was thought that "chrome" wheels are now an "old man thing" and the "youthful look" is all-black wheels.

Not sure I agree.

You guys snagged me lol, gotta go searching for a GT500 lol. I have a standard 5.0 Gt and love it.

I started collecting these things about 5 years ago, and I think I've lost my mind... You can get so much stuff on the cheap, it's unreal...After model prices kept soaring, it started to make perfect sense, (dollars and cents, that is), so I started collecting die casts... And with very little work, you can have almost anything you want... So many subjects covered in die cast that just aren't available unassembled...

Welcome aboard!!!

I'm with you, Bro... I don't agree with that, at all... Well, there's an aftermarket company out there that will be ALL OVER this issue...

I got out the silver Sharpie and now I am much more pleased with my new Corvette but then I am a certified "old man".

That looks great, and I think silver wheels will look even better on my dark metallic blue one! Thanks! B)
