Oh, that does look nice... Does it seem to be close enough to 1/64 scale or is it bigger or smaller?

So I ran to my local Sam's Club to see what they had after what the others posted.

Two mostly empty pallets of diecast and nothing that interested me. Fortunately, we have three Sam's clubs and I had to go near where another one is so I and popped in there. No pallets to be seen at all?. I asked a worker and they showed me where someone had emptied the pallets and stacked all the cars left under the shelf. So here I go plowing through about eighty cars on a lower shelf three cars wide by six tall and five rows deep. I wanted the yellow Corvette because it was exclusive to Sam's Club. Someone had already taken them all ?. So, I got a red one and a decent looking 1968 Mustang Cobra Jet. I'll get them out of the boxes and take a closer look soon. If I'm on the other side of Wichita, I'll take a look at that Sam's Club, but I'm fairly certain all the yellow Corvettes are gone. 70 plus listings on eBay right now for the yellow Corvette. Some as low as $24 starting bid plus shipping with a high of $70 plus shipping. All are in the Sam's club box. These have been out since June. Ah, entrepreneurship!

They have 1/32 or 1/43 (?) and maybe 1/64 but I was looking at those and didn't pay attention to brand, quality or anything.

My first BMW.I bought it  off Ali Express for 6.99 dlvd . I was just browsing and saw this . I didn’t expect much but it’s quite nice and it’s not even branded. It comes in about 6 different liveries I may have to grab another one . 1/43 scale

Got an announcement from diecastmodelswholsale this morning with new 1/25 diecasts from First Gear (which has a good reputation): '56 Ford F-100, '40 Ford truck, 427 Cobra, '63 Vette coupe, '70 Challenger R/T. Price isn't bad at $27.95. Some of these might be worth checking out.

Yeah, I saw that, too... Looking for that '70 Challenger...As a matter of fact, I just added it to my Wish List...

, it was thought that "chrome" wheels are now an "old man thing" and the "youthful look" is all-black wheels.

We are friggin old men and we want silver wheels dammit!  ?

To me there is no contrast between a black wheel and the tire.. reminds me of cars with no wheel covers, just the old steel wheel showing

Black wheels ok, I’ve had some. Red line on rim makes them pop too. Or a dark grey rim. Body color between spokes cool too.
Now get off our lawns ??

It will be hard to beat the Welly '70 Challenger, which is one of my alltime favorite diecasts.

Hey Snake, i checked that site for the Cobra. It's the same as the Welly. And I was not a fan of that one

LOL!!! Yep... Any kind of surround or accent makes them attractive... But, for the most part it screams to me, "I don't like to wash my car...These black rims will do the trick"...

Not all of them look cheap....The black BBS rims on the old Trans Am GTA's of the '80's comes to mind...

Same as this Camaro by Jada, I did...

Interesting. Also interesting that Welly also makes a '63 Vette coupe and a '70 Challenger. Coincidence?

I saw some of these on Ebay on Friday?  I have the Wix Challenger, so I'm covered on a Challenger.   I have 2 63 Vettes.  2 Wix Cobras.   Don't need a 40 Ford Truck - sold the last one I had.   And I just posted my NAPA 56 F-100 from First gear a few days ago on here.  I wondered if they would be reissues of the Welly models as referenced.

The 56 is pretty nice piece.  I have a busted knuckle sign in my work building, so I was kinda interested in the idea.

Rear of Challenger looks a bit heavy and trunk doesn't open - not sure if that confirms the Welly connection or not.

The 40 Ford pickup is "marked down" to $47.45 at this moment.  Seriously?   Front axle looks kinda clunky in the one photo where you can see it peeking out.  The others are marked at $28.45, down from $29.95 from Wholesale diecast models.

None of these are nicer than what I already have so I'll be passing on them, as much as I like First Gear stuff.

It's been said this is the Welly. Do you have a Welly to compare it to and confirm? I'd hate to pay $28 for the same thing I got for $10 at Rite-Aid.

The Federated one looks decent.  Is that an older issue?

Box is printed 2017 . Snake is correct it is a Welly . Sure some can be purchased cheaper but as a Cobra collector it is decorated different than others so for me worth more to put it in my collection . As long as they do not affect my gun budget I don’t care about cost within reason . ?
