Found these at Lowes in the check out impulse buy aisle. I impulse bought them for $6. Made by Kinsmart in 1/32. They're meh, but cute and pull back to go. A black #2 "winner" is made as well, but none were on the shelf. I'll check our other Lowes. Doors open, and that's about it. Need some Snake-Fu!

Tim, thanks for posting the pictures of the Kinsmart GT40 MKIIs.  The front ends look to be a bit high.  Do you think they could be adjusted to be lowered?  Other than that, they look pretty good.

Yes, the box says TTA, but I thought it was a GTA.

Yea i noticed that myself. It could be because it’s an anniversary edition.Or it might stand for Turbo Trans Am..Either way,it’s a GTA to me.

It was September and Dad and I just bought the Alfa Romeo 1750 6C at the Fall Classic Car Auction.  We were headed home with our new purchase using our almost new 1964 Chevy wagon with big smiles on our faces.

Now in the words of Paul Harvey, THE REST of the STORY.

The Jada Showroom Floor 1964 Chevy and the Hachette Alfa arrived today in the mail.

Now I did not know what influencers on the web were until I asked my wife.  These 2 models were the result of influencers keyser, Scudetto, and RSModels who shown the light on these in their posts and influenced me to buy them.

Nice, Gary - have you got an idea for what amount of money you could buy such an Alfa in 1965/66 ? Today, these are aold at auctions (if ever!) for several millions of $ .

Got one of those little GT 40’s as shown in a post above . Not bad but it needs the wheels detailed and that’s all I plan to do .

I had to go to the big box store this morning to buy dog food and just happened ? to walk by the diecasts.  To my surprise they had a short stack of Motor Max Jeep Gladiators.  I got a chuckle when I saw that the box is labeled 1/24 on the top and 1/27 on the window side.  Being in a good mood having found the dog food had been restocked I figured it was ok for this Jeep to follow me home.  It now joins my other proper Jeeps of various sizes.

I had been looking at this 1976 Monte Carlo Lancia Stratos HF by IXO but had held off because it is a rallye car and not Le Mans related and then Helmut went and posted his street version in civilian clothing and I could not resist any longer.  The markings are simply amazing and the only thing I might change would be to add a dark wash to the wheels to give them some depth.

Very nice model of Björn Waldegard's 2nd place Stratos - Björn was instructed by Lancia teamboss Cesare Fiorio to hold back and not to attack Sandro Munari who was intended to repeat his last year's win (Italian team wants the Italian driver to win in an Italian car) .

Compared with my Hachette 1/24 WRC version of the 1977 winner, the models sold under the "IXO" name, have even more fine detailing, for example the door locks and rear hood latches.

A black wash for the wheels can be done, but is not necessary - see pic below (I have sent you PM)

As part of my continuing quest to nail down as many '50s big American cars as I can find, I bought this little 1/26 Maisto '55 Buick in CHP livery...cheap.

Though it looks pretty rough in the photo, it cleaned up nice. It's a pretty decent model, much better than I expected, for not much money.

Very cool to see one of the Tri-5 cousins, and it doesn't look bad at all! Thanks for the heads-up, wasn't aware this existed.
