You have to admit that the Monogram kits build up nice and quick. I shot it with Testors Silver Blue Metallic, close to GM Marina blue, White interior and parts box wheels. The kit wheels just didn’t look right, too big looking and when I measured them they scales out to nearly 18 scale inches.

That looks great. I like the colors for the interior and the exterior. With little more than some paint detailing the engine and the chassis really look good.

Worked with a young guy who had a 64. It was light green, bench seat maybe, not sure. He had made a ram air system for it using dryer hose with the scoops mounted under the bumper. Nice looking GTO in a not seen much color.

I found the wheels in my parts bin, I don’t know where they came from, I just thought they worked much better than the kit wheels,

Roger, that is gorgeous, I've built this one a couple of times over the years,

What tire and wheels did you use? It looks great.

Thanks Roger, I actually scavenged those from a scrap 1/24 GMP diecast GTO, I keep a bunch of scrap diecast and model parts on hand for such projects lol. ?
