So as a kid in the mid '70s I was impressed with a Lime Green Challenger that was jacked up so high in the back that I could see the complete rear end housing hanging below everything else....while sitting in the back seat of my moms 65 Olds.... while parked directly behind the Challenger. That vision was what I had in mind when I built this GTX. I think I nailed the era. Shackled, air shocked, with really wide Cragers. Oh, and that Challenger was jacked MUCH higher than this one.

That's pretty much how I remember them. That's why, in the 80's I never wanted to own one because I never saw one that wasn't totally beat on. Nice work.

I like it! I think it's awesome that your childhood vision inspired you to build a model car with similar attributes. Orange and black is the best looking color combo for Mopar muscle cars in my opinion.

You nailed it perfectly! I loved that look back then and still do. I used to run over 100 p.s.i. in the air shocks on my 66 Satellite. One of my friends in high school used to kid with me that I could crush cars by backing over them.

Great work!
