TooOld Posted January 1, 2020 Posted January 1, 2020 I built every thing from the "First Moon Landing" to "Elvira" , with a human skull in there too ! Pretty strange year . Apollo 11 landing , built for the 50th anniversary . First Funny Car I've built since the 60's ! I spent several months on this one . First place in the "Ed Roth Rat Fink Weird-Ohs Reunion Contest" . This is the Atlantis reissue of "The Ghost Of The Red Baron" with LED eyes added . A survivor from around 1977 , a couple of wheels had fallen off but this is basically how it looked when I unboxed it ! Nice little "Snap" kit . This is right out of the box , somebody could really super detail this kit ! Box stock build of an original kit from my stash . Not happy with the color , I really wanted to just practice making the white decals . A replica of one of my 1:1 '60 El Caminos . I built this several years ago but now redid it with the correct wheels and tires , lowered ride height , and steering added . Another long term build using an old Monogram body , some diecast parts , and a resin Elvira. First place in the Halloween Contest .
Bernard Kron Posted January 1, 2020 Posted January 1, 2020 All superbly done. A real evocation of the Joy Of Modeling. The Moon Landing is a stunner, but as a died in the wool auto modeler my fave is the El Camino - a knockout. All the best to you for 2020.
89AKurt Posted January 1, 2020 Posted January 1, 2020 Great spirit of modeling going on there! I've done Deal's Wheels last century, your projects really do the subjects justice.
LL3 Model Worx Posted January 1, 2020 Posted January 1, 2020 Very cool builds! I really like your Elco...
Snake45 Posted January 1, 2020 Posted January 1, 2020 What a great year for you! Outstanding work on all of them. Extremely well done, and model on!
donb Posted January 2, 2020 Posted January 2, 2020 The Red Baron Skull and the Elco look pretty cool to me. Nice variety too.

You picked my favorite too , but I'm biased 'cause I owned the real thing .
Plowboy Posted January 2, 2020 Posted January 2, 2020 Lot of cool stuff Bob! Love the El Camino! I also really like the Streaker 'Vette! I had that model way back in the day and it was one of my favorites. I'd like to get my hands on another one and build it right out of the box.
drodg Posted January 2, 2020 Posted January 2, 2020 That is a fascinating mixed bag of builds. All great!
Belugawrx Posted January 2, 2020 Posted January 2, 2020 Great assortment of builds Bob ! Cheers to more in 2020
StevenGuthmiller Posted January 2, 2020 Posted January 2, 2020 You are a real master Bob! I would be lying if I said that a lot of this particular subject matter interested me, but it is all top notch work none the less! That '60 El Camino is absolutely killer!! Steve

Nazz Posted January 2, 2020 Posted January 2, 2020 I love them all , although I too love the El co. I also build more than cars and can appreciate all your builds. Wonderful detail on the Lunar landing.

I've got another unbuilt Streaker Vette waiting to be built but I doubt I could improve much over the survivor .
