Brianl Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 I don't really know what to call this one, a rod, a custom, a what.... Chassis, suspension, wheels and tyres are from the Barris Surf Woody. I wanted a model that showed up the chassis detail. Engine is donated from a Willies Gasser (not sure which one) and body was a 40 Ford coupe, slightly gas axed. Paint is Tamiya Pure Red. Bit of fun and it looks cool on the shelf. And thanks to the Silver Fox who donated the power plant and body (or what's left of it). Brian
larman Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 That's really kool! Love the Hemi. Love the rear view!
DonW Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 I like that. It looks like a grown up Hot Wheels rod, which can't be bad.Â
rickcaps55 Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 WOW ! that is awesome right out of the pages of a 60's Hot Rod Magazine.!!!!
SoDak1 Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 Shes a dangerous machine for sure! The numbered doors were a great touch
espo Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 Great looking build. Besides the detailing that you did it looks well engineered enough to be streetable . I like looking at and trying to figure out the source of all the different parts that went into this build.Â
Silver Foxx Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 This looks great Brian , another awesome build , this is why all my leftover bits go to you .
Spex84 Posted January 26, 2020 Posted January 26, 2020 Whoa, wicked! I love that front 3/4 shot showing the independent front suspension and rectangular headlights. Crazy, creative, and it all works pretty well despite the wide and disparate range of parts and inspiration. Kind of reminds me of Gary Campesi's awesome digital car concepts. Well done!
Koellefornia Kid Posted January 27, 2020 Posted January 27, 2020 Looks cool from every angle! A great combination of parts!
