dragstueck Posted February 8, 2020 Posted February 8, 2020 Here are the Pics (with WIP Pics) from the Caterpilar D8H i build for the Fire Truck in an other post. I spent a lot of time in the Bulldozer for Details. Hope you like it. Greatings from Germany Juergen and now the WIP Pics:
landman Posted February 8, 2020 Posted February 8, 2020 Fascinating Juergen. I shamelessly stole photos of your engine to help detail mine when I get to it.
kilrathy10 Posted February 8, 2020 Posted February 8, 2020 (edited) This is a FANTASTIC build.... And, like Pat, I downloaded EVERYTHING!!! You just put on a serious clinic for us "novice" modelers... Man, this is awesome.... At my best, I will never be able to add this much detail... I'll be satisfied with matching the weathering to cover up the mistakes... This baby is real nice, Man... REAL NICE!!!! Edited February 8, 2020 by kilrathy10
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted February 8, 2020 Posted February 8, 2020 Looks Awesome! The weathering is excellent!! Great work!!
iamsuperdan Posted February 9, 2020 Posted February 9, 2020 Your weathering work is stunning. Incredibly well done.
1959scudetto Posted February 9, 2020 Posted February 9, 2020 Amazing work, Jürgen, I would never have the patience nor the abilities to put so much detail into one kit !

gatorincebu Posted March 2, 2020 Posted March 2, 2020 Juergen, There has been some really well built and well detailed dozers done over the years . Bit on this one you have really raised the bar ! Your scratch building and level of detailing in outstanding . This model is awesome . However as a retired Operator . I have to say I really wouldn't want to take that machine into a fire zone with the tracks sagging like that ! ? But like some of the others I will be coming back to these photos for inspiration . Be Well Gator
TECHMAN Posted March 21, 2020 Posted March 21, 2020 ??? Really OUTSTANDING!!!! The detail and weathering is amazing!!!! DJ
DrKerry Posted March 21, 2020 Posted March 21, 2020 Ok!! Picking my jaw up off the floor now!!! Love the detail work in this!! WOW ?
Chariots of Fire Posted March 21, 2020 Posted March 21, 2020 Well Done! That's about as nice as it gets! Blade weathering is especially perfect!

Where did the rivet and bolt head come from?
