kelson Posted March 22, 2020 Posted March 22, 2020 Wow!Fantastic level of detail all around!gotta love a camaro painted Ticket me first Red!!
Hawk312 Posted March 22, 2020 Author Posted March 22, 2020 Thanks guys! I think we really need an accurate IROC kit in this scale that doesn't need to be modified right out of the box.

With so many tools ( Amt, Mpc, Revell, Monogram, Fujimi) available of that gen Camaro, very unlikely

However, to my knowledge, Fujimi did not do a kit of that gen Camaro (they did the gen before), but Arii did the 82 vintage.

The Irocs stood way out above the regular z/28 (and still do for collectors) in desirability here in the states. MPC already has an Iroc kit with the TPI setup. All they would really need to do is tool a set of accurate wheels and use the tires from the GTA kits. Revell, it would be a little more difficult, but they already do have the engine and tires (the GTA kit again), and would need to tweaks to the front fascia, the interior and of course, decals. They did it twice with the two big kits (1/8 and 1/16) converting the 82-84 Z/28 kits to Irocs, so I wish they would do the same for the 1/24 kit. I think it would sell much, much better than a re-hash of the plain `85 Camaro Z/28 we keep getting. Oh well....
vincen47 Posted March 23, 2020 Posted March 23, 2020 Outstanding! Wow, that’s incredible detailing under the hood - the highest level in realism.
Matt T. Posted March 23, 2020 Posted March 23, 2020 Unreal! What kit did this start out as? Unbelievable details and paint job. A-plus!!
jefropas Posted March 23, 2020 Posted March 23, 2020 Nice!!! Makes me miss my 90' convertible IROC.... Jeff

Funkychiken Posted March 24, 2020 Posted March 24, 2020 Wow, I've never seen one of these built to such a high standard, that engine detail is amazing too!
rustybill1960 Posted April 11, 2020 Posted April 11, 2020 Impressive One stunning build Thank You for sharing Later
lghtngyello03 Posted April 11, 2020 Posted April 11, 2020 This build is ridiculously clean. The amount of detail in the engine bay is amazing for a 1/24 Scale build. What did you use on wiring harness on the firewall? It looks real!
Peter Lombardo Posted April 11, 2020 Posted April 11, 2020 Can't find anything to fault, just beautiful. Oh so shinny and well detailed.
Merc-57 Posted April 11, 2020 Posted April 11, 2020 Beautiful build. Never seen such a nice example of this kit before. My hat is off
Phildaupho Posted December 30, 2020 Posted December 30, 2020 Just came across this post as I try to finish an 87 Camaro before the end of the year. Your model is fabulous especially the engine compartment detail.
Plastic_Passion Posted January 3, 2021 Posted January 3, 2021 This is simply incredible! May I ask how you did the nose? I have a kitbashed version of this same kit but nowhere near as nice as yours is. Impeccable attention to detail!
