FordRodnKustom Posted June 13, 2020 Posted June 13, 2020 (edited) Hi all, hope everyone is well. Finished this one up this morning. It was an interesting and educational journey bringing this old Ford back but I had a lot of fun with it. Started with this original build up... Somehow ended up here... Thanks for looking! Comments and discussion always welcome. Edited June 13, 2020 by FordRodnKustom 1
Biggu Posted June 13, 2020 Posted June 13, 2020 Beautiful restoration.................. my late uncle had one of these, although a 4 door, but exactly the same color........ beautiful job !
espo Posted June 13, 2020 Posted June 13, 2020 Wow, what a difference. When this was originally built it was common to use every part on the box. I think the '59 Ford had some additional trim on the front fenders and door, but this looks cleaner to me and makes the car look even longer without the extra clutter. Very remarkable rebuild.
StevenGuthmiller Posted June 15, 2020 Posted June 15, 2020 Nice save Ron!! Reminds me a great deal of the beginnings of a particular '58 Ford that I restored some time ago. Might have been the same original builder! Steve
Koellefornia Kid Posted June 15, 2020 Posted June 15, 2020 Nice rescue! Love the mild custom touches!
Peter Lombardo Posted June 17, 2020 Posted June 17, 2020 Simply, a great save. Looks period perfect now.
FordRodnKustom Posted June 18, 2020 Author Posted June 18, 2020 Thanks guys! I appreciate all the good words on this build!
Spottedlaurel Posted June 20, 2020 Posted June 20, 2020 What a transformation! You've done a great job there.
