Wheels from the Orange crate 32 with the front tyres from a Revell 29 roadster along with the Buick drums all round. Lowered front end and scratch built headlight mounts. Painted Ford burgundy red rattle can with no clear. Thanks for looking Lee
espo Posted June 17, 2020 Posted June 17, 2020 This is a really nice looking little Hot Rod. All the right elements with just enough off the top.
68shortfleet Posted June 17, 2020 Posted June 17, 2020 Very nice. Looking forward to building one using this body from Drag City
larman Posted June 17, 2020 Posted June 17, 2020 Fantastic build! Great color! Great stance, perfect motor! Everything works perfectly together!
Limeyglue Posted June 18, 2020 Author Posted June 18, 2020 Thanks guys. The body is a really nice casting. All I had to do to it was give it a good clean and sand down and it was ready for paint
beeRS Posted June 18, 2020 Posted June 18, 2020 Beautiful hot rod. You get great results from a rattle can.
gman Posted June 18, 2020 Posted June 18, 2020 That is a killer build- backdated the Hemi that comes with the 5 window with valve covers from RMCoM? I really like it, great job.
oldnslow Posted June 18, 2020 Posted June 18, 2020 Wow , that turned out nice , great choice of parts .
Peter Lombardo Posted June 18, 2020 Posted June 18, 2020 Very nice, love the stance with the forward rake. Very well done, love the 8 carbs, they look great.

OldNYJim Posted June 20, 2020 Posted June 20, 2020 You’re clearly a very talented builder - great paint! Id like to see some plug wires on the engine if it was mine...but I like it just the same!
Husky1943 Posted June 20, 2020 Posted June 20, 2020 Limeyglue, that is one gorgeous car you built! Great job. I am beginning to realize two things; there is a lot of talent here, and apparently, no one has fingerprints!
Limeyglue Posted June 20, 2020 Author Posted June 20, 2020 I know it could do with plug wires but I never put them on my builds so I was thinking of making plug covers
Phildaupho Posted June 20, 2020 Posted June 20, 2020 That is one tough looking Deuce Coupe - love your choice of colour, wheels, tires, brakes and carbs
