What are all the cool kids using these days to attach their window glass! What types of glues?

That's what usually use and I also medium super glue and clamps if the glass is not fitting the frame well with a kicker so there is no fogging

I'm so clumsy I shouldn't have super glue in the same room with clear parts!

Gator's Grip glue.

5 min epoxy. If you screw up it peels right off.

Either of the above two products are made for affixing clear glass and work well. The Evergreen product is sold at Hobby Lobby.

This Is clear double sided tape I got at Michaels. This also works well on glass either by itself or in combination with above glues. I’ve secured glass in place with tape along stop and bottom edges, then filled in the remaining seams with glue

Plastruct. It has a capillary effect. I've always used Devcon 5-Minute Epoxy as it dries clear and has a strong bond. It is also my "go to glue" for most of my modeling.

I have always had fogging problems with superglue and will no longer use it after too many ruined windshields. 5 minute epoxy seems to work better, and as mentioned, is more forgiving.

There is also a UK product Clear Fix by Humbrol.. They also have a product named Clear Coat.

A website worth looking at is De Luxe Materials. It is a UK company that develops, makes and markets an extensive range of adhesives, fillers and finishing materials aimed at the modelling market.  Their Scenic Rust is really good.

If it's a single windscreen, plane canopy, car headlight lens, all I do is paint round the edge of the body with a small brush and clear gloss enamel paint and carefully, with tweezers place the clear plastic onto the opening, inside or outside whichever way it should be mounted, leave overnight, the clear gloss dries gripping the clear plastic piece.

I use ZAP 560 canopy glue, works great. It's not a brand I specifically searched for, it just happend to be the first one that popped up in search results when I was looking for something that didn't fog and melt clear plastic. I gave it a shot and does exactly what I needed it for. There's loads of different brands and types out there but if it works for you, just stick to it whatever brand it is.

Just glued in the rear window in my 1982 Buick -- I used Testors clear parts cement and window maker.  Worked great.  What I really liked is that it took a "set" pretty quick.   I had to hold the window down with my finger for it to conform to the curve a bit -- but not long.  The glue "set" fairly quickly.

What do you mean a "kicker" & what type of clamps?

The kicker is a Chemical that instantly hardens the glue and prevents fogging. The clamps I use are like these.
