mrmike Posted November 27, 2020 Posted November 27, 2020 This is my '70 'Cuda 440+6 painted with Testors Hemi Orange (Tor-red) with a tan interior, wired 440 CID 6 Barrel engine with a TorqueFlite 3-speed automatic trans, Magnum 500 wheels, decals by Keith Marks Graphics, dual scoop hood and AMT Goodyear White Lettered Tires.
1972coronet Posted November 27, 2020 Posted November 27, 2020 Outstanding BS23V0 ! I'm partial to EV2 Tor-Red / Hemi Orange .
moparfarmer Posted November 27, 2020 Posted November 27, 2020 Very nicely done..That tan interior is rare on those cars..Had a friend who had a B7 Hemi Cuda with a tan interior..So called geru Galen Govier said one never existed and said you couldn't order one..Friend copied build sheet and told him where to go and he thinks he knows everything, which he doesn't..Got another friend who had a car authenticized by him twice as being said car..Car started out as 383 Coronet convertible..Your model is excellent but I bet there are a few out there with the same serial # as per your decal..
Misha Posted November 27, 2020 Posted November 27, 2020 That’s a great looking Cuda Michael.I followed your WIP thread with interest with the changes and details you added. Love the colour. Cheers Misha
Hmann68 Posted November 28, 2020 Posted November 28, 2020 I’ve always been a fan of that hood on Cudas. If I was filling out an order sheet at the dealer, I believe it would look darn close to this! Very nice job ??
mrmike Posted November 29, 2020 Author Posted November 29, 2020 Thank you guys! This is an excellent kit to build! Even changing the engine and transmission was easy and well worth it! I get tired of seeing the same kit with the same engine and transmission all the time!
ModelcarJR Posted November 30, 2020 Posted November 30, 2020 Looks good, MrMike! I agree on the engines. I've got to find a 318 to put in one of these. Nice work on yours! ?
mrmike Posted November 30, 2020 Author Posted November 30, 2020 Thank you John and Michelle! 12 hours ago, ModelcarJR said: Looks good, MrMike! I agree on the engines. You could use the AMT '71 340 CID engine and add a 2-barrel carb to the top.
Oldcarfan27 Posted November 30, 2020 Posted November 30, 2020 Reminds me of Camel Tan thats in my 78 T/A. It's a great color. I especially like it paired with dark green metallic! Looks nice in your Cuda too!
doorsovdoon Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 Nice colour and great detailing under the hood.
