crazyjim Posted December 7, 2020 Posted December 7, 2020 Today's completion was a '70 Road Runner in Pearl-Ex green yellow over a black base. Steve Zimmerman wheels used.
cobraman Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 Great model Jim. Those wheels make it a real standout ! Oh, the cool paint don't hurt either !
espo Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 Great looking paint color and finish. I have always been a fan of the deep dished wheel look also. The engine detail is a good day two look with the engine color and the air cleaners. Very nice looking interior and it matches the exterior well.
Koellefornia Kid Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 Love the color, love the wheels, love this build!
Geno Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 Man, that bad boy rocks Jim, the color makes it pop.?
NYLIBUD Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 Great job.The 70 RR and GTX,are my favorite Mopars.Theres something about the grille that does it.IMO Mopars had the best designed front grilles
bisc63 Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 Nice! Really like the monochromatic color scheme, and you pulled it off with green! ( A color that scares a lot of hot rodders) The body color is very appealing, in my book.
e30lover Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 I really love the tri-tone green color scheme! I recently built the same kit and had a great time making one of these as well!
BeakDoc Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 Great looking Roadrunner, Jim! I’m digging those wheels.
Steamboat Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 That really looks great! Did you say that it's acrylic paint?
crazyjim Posted December 9, 2020 Author Posted December 9, 2020 Thank you Rusty, Mike, Chang, Chris, amd Bill. Paint is Pearl-Ex powder mixed into HOK SG100 intercoat clear, Bill.
doorsovdoon Posted December 10, 2020 Posted December 10, 2020 Beautiful build this one, the interior looks super nice. I always look forward to your builds, no WIP just boom there it is! haha,
Steve H Posted December 10, 2020 Posted December 10, 2020 Hi Jim, wow, that colour REALLY pops in the sun! Beautiful build sir, love the wheel choice too. Cheers, Steve
