Not the most stealthy appearance, perhaps - with spot lamps & smoked rear lights - but I'm not having something that took so long looking uncool! ? Also, I wouldn't want to drive through the night at 150mph without the best available lighting. The plans for tinted windows were abandoned for various reasons, but at least the hard work on the interior isn't hidden now.

Best of luck with all your ongoing builds guys. I'll be here watching ?

Good job!  Came out great!

Made some progress after allot of late work nights.. since it’s Easter time and here in north of Sweden that’s a time for going outside and use the grill.. I opened up the grill on the Silverado. Can’t decide on hood but I think I prefere the stock one.

o and the thread is now under pickups instead of other racing.

That Silverado is nice!!!! Everybody's builds are super cool. I haven't had too much time to do any building. Some unfortunate stuff happened a couple of weeks ago and now getting my mind right before I go back to work.

Thats looking great! I love your truck and the stance!  And a real sleeper with those wheels!
Those bars in the engine bay is looking sick! A stepside bed would push it even further in my opinion. I have one for you depending on where you are located ?

You got me there on awd... an unexpected engine and layout would be an monster turboed RB26 awd!  Or skyline gearbox and front diff, nascar rear end with a LS twin turbo! That would be so gooood! Shapeways have a kit.

This is really an outstanding build Pete! Cannonball theme aside, you pinpointed what subject you wanted to build (much like the 007 Lotus) and replicated it to perfection! Great job!

And in case anyone had forgotten, here is the subject for comparison. It's just about a mirror image so I reversed the replica to perfect the illusion...

Definitely an inspiration for all of us getting to the half way point...

Thanks Bruce! Cool truck - think it might be riding a tad high, though? ?

As stealth is a key component the car will be equipped with cutting edge electronics to detect and evade!

Then you might need one of these. You'll be centuries ahead of the Smokeys. ?

I'm glad I took advantage of some nice weather to get some clear on the Accord, because it's snowing again.

I left the skirts flat black in hopes that it wouldn't seem so low on the street, I guess we'll see how it looks once it's done.

I don't have any progress pics at the moment, but I did get some parts that I have been waiting for. FiTech EFI and tires from Fireball Modelworks for my Thunderbolt station wagon.

You guys are putting me shame, some great progress and ideas to be seen and another fantastic completion.

Haven't touched mine for a few weeks now, but with a couple of simpler builds finished off I have no excuse........

I feel you, I've not touched my build in weeks.

I did get my wheels/tire combo ordered, they were custom made and 3D printed so hopefully they'll ship soon.

Lots of great progress guys. Looking forward to more updates.

Hoping to get back to mine soon, maybe some paint this weekend.

I got the pillars blacked out and the chrome window trim done.

Then I thought I might as well mount the glass and put the body on the chassis.

I had a hard time getting the body to sit right, which is unusual for a Tamiya kit, but I finally got it to cooperate.

Nice details... and the clear coat has a nice shine on that silver.
