mr moto Posted December 28, 2020 Posted December 28, 2020 I've never done this before - put up an annual recap, that is. Don't know why but all the cool kids are doin' it so why not. It looks like I got five done this year and here they are in no particular order. AMT '32 Ford Phaeton: 1934 Ford pickup: Aurora Maserati 3500 GTi: 1963 Plymouth Melrose Missile III: And last but not least, my '57 T-Bird tribute to Mexican wrestler "Blue Demon": I hope you enjoy my five and happy building to everyone in 2021!
bbowser Posted December 28, 2020 Posted December 28, 2020 Great group of builds. I like the Maserati.
espo Posted December 28, 2020 Posted December 28, 2020 Great range of subjects. I like the '32 Tub and the Ala Kart style decals on the '34. I actually got to see and more importantly hear the Melrose Missile at the Winter National in '63. Those cars with the engine at "Full Song" will make the hair on the back of your neck stand up. The little T-Bird I think I remember you working on the color lay out sometime ago. Great idea using your inspiration.

Danno Posted December 28, 2020 Posted December 28, 2020 All very nice, but the '34 Ala-up really sings to me. Very nice!! (Not that the T-Bird isn't . . . ) ??
Misha Posted December 28, 2020 Posted December 28, 2020 Outstanding work Manuel! Plus the variety of builds executed to a consistent high level. I’ll join in with my fav being the 33, yet the Phaeton comes oh so close! They are all winners, congrats Cheers and a happy New Year, Misha
TransAmMike Posted December 29, 2020 Posted December 29, 2020 Very nice cars Manuel, great job? By the way, I see you're in Baton Rouge, so GEAUX TIGAHS!!
alan barton Posted December 29, 2020 Posted December 29, 2020 What q good year! The pickup does it for me - that is sooooo right! Cheers Alan
David G. Posted December 29, 2020 Posted December 29, 2020 You have a great set there! I'm partial to the Thunderbird with its tribute paint job, well done! I don't know much about professional wrestling either Mexican or American but it seems to me that the Mexican wrestlers are way more over-the-top and flamboyant than their counterparts here in the States. In any case, it's a very unique and cool source of inspiration for a paint scheme. It's great that you have the mask as a companion to the model. David G.
Michael F Posted December 29, 2020 Posted December 29, 2020 Very cool builds ! The tribute Thunderbird is a very neat idea to honor sportsman!

doorsovdoon Posted December 29, 2020 Posted December 29, 2020 That Maserati is beautiful, very nice collection.
TooOld Posted December 30, 2020 Posted December 30, 2020 Great collection Manuel , really like the '34 pickup !
mr moto Posted December 30, 2020 Author Posted December 30, 2020 Thanks to everyone for all the kind words. Looking at all the builds on display in the "Under Glass" section right now I'm reminded of the awesome amount of talent in this community. It's an honor to be included, let alone appreciated.
