espo Posted January 4, 2021 Posted January 4, 2021 All very cleanly built. The color you used on each one suites them perfectly. I like the close to stock but with a little extra look.
Mattilacken Posted January 4, 2021 Posted January 4, 2021 Beautiful builds al of them! A real effort making so manny!
Tom Geiger Posted January 4, 2021 Posted January 4, 2021 Nice group of cars! A good year's worth of work!
Spottedlaurel Posted January 4, 2021 Posted January 4, 2021 Quality and quantity! I remember seeing a few of those through the year, they all look excellent.
cobraman Posted January 4, 2021 Posted January 4, 2021 That's a very nice group of models you built there.
Monty Posted January 4, 2021 Posted January 4, 2021 Very impressive array. I wish I could produce quality eye-catching builds like this at a much quicker rate, but... Of all the builds you posted, this stood out the most to me. I'm guessing it's an old AMT kit with a 2 metal axle chassis, but the paint colors, stance and detailing made me stop and look longer.
bbowser Posted January 5, 2021 Posted January 5, 2021 You had a very good year! Beautiful paint and foil work.
TransAmMike Posted January 5, 2021 Posted January 5, 2021 All great looking builds Tommy. Hard to pick a favorite in that group but the '68 (or is it a '69) and the '66 SS Chevelle (since I used to own one) do it for me.?
Bills72sj Posted January 5, 2021 Posted January 5, 2021 A gorgeous group of builds. Turquoise Charger is my favorite.
mustang1989 Posted January 5, 2021 Posted January 5, 2021 Ya know.....when I see a post like 20 builds in a year I expect to see 20 fairly good looking builds. Upon scrolling through all of this however, I am amazed at the quality of these 20 builds. Very good job on all of these Tommy.
BeakDoc Posted January 5, 2021 Posted January 5, 2021 Not easy to pick a favorite out of those! All are phenomenal builds. The AMX and Toronado are inspiring.
Tommy124 Posted January 6, 2021 Author Posted January 6, 2021 Thanks guys for all your kind words, I appreciate it!

drodg Posted January 6, 2021 Posted January 6, 2021 Very nice. How do you guys do it? I cannot get that many cars built in two years.

I'm actually kinda glad that I can't build that fast. I'd run out of display space just that much quicker. lol Edited January 6, 2021 by mustang1989

It's called the Corona builds... Home office most of the time in 2020, e.g. saving me a lot of time going to and from the office by car. Plus it adds a lot of flexibility to how I spend my "daily routine"... 1 hour ago, mustang1989 said: I'm actually kinda glad that I can't build that fast. But then again, I have been a "non-finisher" in term of modelling in former times and most of my builds ended up in the bin. That was a long time ago, but now I enjoy building and finishing (!) models even more...

One a Monogram 69 Judge and the other a Johan 69 Roadrunner. Not hard cars to finish either. I have no idea why I didn't finish either of them.

I've got a few of those kinds of builds that I planned everything out for and then out of the blue I selected a total different build in its place. I've got a 79 Mustang that I REALLY want to build into a 460 car. Got the custom decals, the resin 460 and all that stuff for it too. I think I just talked myself into building it for my next build.
Paul Payne Posted January 6, 2021 Posted January 6, 2021 All these? In one year? Amazing builds each and every one! It takes me a year just to get one decent paint job done!
YBlock292 Posted January 6, 2021 Posted January 6, 2021 Thomas, it seems You had a very busy year in 2020. My favorit model is the pale blue 64 Galaxie.? Best regards Ludwig

I built other things instead also.
