Casey Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 Hardtop fans, rejoice: AMT 1066 -- 1/25 1964 Olds Cutlass 442 Hardtop
Erik Smith Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 They should have waited until everybody bought the convertible.
Snake45 Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 Incentive to hurry up and get my resin-bodied one done before the kit comes out and renders it useless.
Chuck Kourouklis Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 Awesome! I'll just hafta whet the ol' appetite with the ragtop in the meantime.
hemiman_1999 Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 This will be Fantastic if true but, Is this news positive or just speculation from someone, if it is true I have 2 mint bodies I have bought since the announcement of the convert more than 80 bucks worth of bodies if it comes out I will buy 3-4 more I really like this car but I hate Convertibles. I would really like to see the 65 GTO 2DR HT that was done in 65 as a promo only.....I would be in for 6-8 of those.....

Casey is a very reliale source for new kit announcements, so it appears to be true. Plus it has an official Round2 kit number, so I'd call it legit Edited March 2, 2021 by Mr. Metallic

1972coronet Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 Thistle be great ! Certainly I'm not alone in wondering if : - Update the transmission to a 4-speed ( all 1964 4-4-2's were 4-speeds ) - Include clear headlamps to affix-atop the moulded-on lamps ( instead of modifying the stock grille ) I've got the F-85 / Cutlass drop-top on order ---- a companion hardtop in 4-4-2 livery will be nice .

Motor City Posted March 3, 2021 Posted March 3, 2021 (edited) This is great news about the '64 442 hardtop, and bodes well for what Round2 is doing with their old tooling. The '65 GTO promo isn't that great. They messed up the taillights on that, too! It should have just had the ribbed panel across the entire back and would have looked better! StevenGuthmiller Posted March 3, 2021 Posted March 3, 2021 Guess now I'll have to get one of each! Just what I need. More kits! Steve
charlie8575 Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 I wonder if Round 2 would be interested in seeing what we'd like next in this program? There are so many great possibilities. Charlie Larkin

Nazz Posted March 16, 2021 Posted March 16, 2021 '64 Cutlass. Ahhh man, now I have another kit to buy.... and I'm running out of space! Jerry
stavanzer Posted March 22, 2021 Posted March 22, 2021 Other than the Body and the decals, will there be any difference in these kits?
