'70 Grande Posted August 1, 2021 Posted August 1, 2021 (edited) Wow! That is really clean and crisp build! If a magic-gennie popped outta a bottle and told me I could have a 1:1 '67 GTX in any color combination that I wanted in my garage tonight, this would be the exact color scheme that I'd choose! Well done! Edited August 1, 2021 by '70 Grande 1
bisc63 Posted August 1, 2021 Posted August 1, 2021 Oh yeah. VERY nice; love that color, it really accents the lines of this body style (one of my favorites). Your model has a very realistic over all appearance, having a nice stance and clean details. The engine bay is beautifully done. I like that the "sit" of the model gives the illusion of heft and weight of the real deal. Very well done; a model to be proud of.
Venom Posted August 1, 2021 Posted August 1, 2021 I’ve been considering one of these for my stash... Alex, that is a perfect build, BEAUTIFUL! Great color, great engine work and details, and pristine body panel lines.??
TarheelRick Posted August 1, 2021 Posted August 1, 2021 That is one beautifully built MOPAR. Excellent color choice and paint, beautiful interior. But what grabs me most is the outstanding photography. You are a true artist in model building and photography.
grodudulle77 Posted August 1, 2021 Posted August 1, 2021 The details and paint job are very awesome. I really like the color , outstanding build !! ??
JollySipper Posted August 1, 2021 Posted August 1, 2021 Excellent build of this very good kit..... Under hood details look spot-on.
Bills72sj Posted August 1, 2021 Posted August 1, 2021 Sweet build! My dad had a white convertible Satellite when I was a kid.
Zippi Posted August 2, 2021 Posted August 2, 2021 Great looking GTX. Very clean looking all around. Love the Tamiya Italian red. I'm painting my 41 Willy's a TS-Italian red. What did you use as the basecoat?

I wanted the red to be as bright as possible and because I had no white primer I used no primer/basecoat at all, and painted over bare plastic white
Crowmag Posted August 2, 2021 Author Posted August 2, 2021 Thanks to everyone, your comments mean very much to me Stay healthy Stay strong

May have to try that sometime. I painted my Willy's a flat gray primer at first and the red was to dark so I re-primed it with a Tamiya basecoat white hopeing that the red looks more like the cap.
drodg Posted August 2, 2021 Posted August 2, 2021 Looks great. I actually don't think that kit can look any better than that.
AMT68 Posted August 2, 2021 Posted August 2, 2021 (edited) Exceptionally clean build right down to the "Plymouth" block lettering on the hood. Looks great from every angle. Edited August 2, 2021 by AMT68
Monty Posted August 2, 2021 Posted August 2, 2021 Remarkable! Love the paint, detailing, and clean assembly work. Props for great photography as well. Question: I noticed chrome seat braces. Were those kit parts or did you make them? If so, how?
