cobraman Posted October 22, 2021 Posted October 22, 2021 This is now finished . It is the second Cobra glue bomb I bought in a set of 3 .
happy grumpy Posted October 22, 2021 Posted October 22, 2021 Beautiful restoration. The blue suits it well.I like it
espo Posted October 23, 2021 Posted October 23, 2021 Great looking save. I like the roof design on this.
Snake45 Posted October 23, 2021 Posted October 23, 2021 Not a huge fan of that two-toning, but otherwise, very sharp! You should be proud of bringing this one back from the dead, too. Well done and model on!
Gramps46 Posted October 23, 2021 Posted October 23, 2021 I am impressed with how fast you can turn these out. Well done.
Plowboy Posted October 26, 2021 Posted October 26, 2021 That's a great save Ray! You don't see many with the top on them.
MeatMan Posted October 26, 2021 Posted October 26, 2021 Awesome work! That's the first time I've seen that top from the kit used and you did it justice. I have that kit I bought partially built. While not exactly a glue bomb, it has some issues. I've had it several years but seeing yours brings the itch to get it done.
vamach1 Posted October 26, 2021 Posted October 26, 2021 From what I remember reading very few street Cobras came with a hardtop which was usually outsourced from outside SA.
cobraman Posted October 27, 2021 Author Posted October 27, 2021 Thank you fellows. Wow ! Rex , that is one sharp car. Any other pics of it by any chance?

afx Posted October 27, 2021 Posted October 27, 2021 (edited) Just FYI , the car Rex posted is an AC Aceca not a Cobra hardtop although they share the same chassis. Beautiful car, wish we could get a kit or trans-kit of one. Edited October 27, 2021 by afx
cobraman Posted October 27, 2021 Author Posted October 27, 2021 I knew it was not a Cobra but it is one great looking auto.
gseeds Posted October 27, 2021 Posted October 27, 2021 Nice save cobraman! I never knew these cars came with a top, I now have a new fondness these little cobras , also dig the two tone treatment !
Gramps46 Posted October 27, 2021 Posted October 27, 2021 Gary, You might want to check out this thread, there are a lot of ideas for Cobra tops. 1
