doorsovdoon Posted November 7, 2021 Posted November 7, 2021 My third Charger build. I went with the steelies and dropped a Hemi in from the MPC kit. I lost the door mirrors so I used some Rally Sport mirrors as a replacement, I think they're from the MPC Squad Rod. Colour is Vauxhall Flame Red. This a '69 body with moulded on vinyl roof, I just filled in the side markers to make it a '68. This is an awesome kit by Revell. Like the last one I did, I thoroughly enjoyed building this. 4
Zippi Posted November 7, 2021 Posted November 7, 2021 Nothing wrong with that. Pretty slick looking ride man. I like the red line tires and great detail work on the interior.
happy grumpy Posted November 7, 2021 Posted November 7, 2021 Great build, my favorite charger year. Beautiful work on the paint and trim.
Bills72sj Posted November 7, 2021 Posted November 7, 2021 Very well done. I cannot recall ever seeing a 2nd gen Charger in red.
espo Posted November 7, 2021 Posted November 7, 2021 Beautiful looking finishes and good color selection for the body.
AMT68 Posted November 7, 2021 Posted November 7, 2021 Excellent build and I really like the red and black theme throughout especially for that era muscle car.
TransAmMike Posted November 7, 2021 Posted November 7, 2021 Yep cool Mopar...can't go wrong with red. I like the poverty cap look. Nice job Gareth?
Dragonhawk1066 Posted November 7, 2021 Posted November 7, 2021 Nice work! Great wheel choice with the steelies.
Olskoolrodder Posted November 8, 2021 Posted November 8, 2021 It turned out gorgeous, my friend, nicely done!
Smoke Wagon Posted November 8, 2021 Posted November 8, 2021 Nice job on the foiling, and great color choice.

doorsovdoon Posted November 8, 2021 Author Posted November 8, 2021 Thanks guys, I appreciate all the comments. I forgot to mention, the front wheels on this kit looked to stick out just a bit too far so I removed the inner hubs and just glued the wheels solid to the brake calliper. I also had to cut a very small notch out of the front tyres to clear the trackrod ends. Not an ideal fix, but modifying the front suspension would involve a large amount of work to get the same effect.
