The Copper paint is on the Cobra. I mixed a few drops of Black into the Chroma Molten Metals Copper for a little bit more depth. I'm liking it! Next will be taping off the body to paint the Black stripes on, although I may shoot a coat of clear on first.

Call this one done!

Great work Kurt! Definitely a WIP to eat popcorn by. A great subject choice and considering the fiddly fuss, I'm glad it didn't end up in the parts box. Looking forward to the race!

I sprayed the Krylon Short Cuts Clear on the birth year Shelby Cobra earlier today. I'll let it gas out and harden for a few days before wet-sanding, polishing, and waxing. In the meantime I'll get the detail painting done and start assembly of the engine, interior, and chassis.

Madde some progress.. i am full of plastic since grinding out that grill! And to not go to crazy I will probably just put a net behind it in stead of making the radiator support and all… or we will see if my add acts up on me 🤣

And carbon looks ok to me!  A3CE4029-223F-412E-9FBD-51F9330FC5BC.thumb.jpeg.61dbc83d9992f6bf51234935ed8e1eac.jpeg

I got the yellow on my 81 Mustang. It's been so humid here painting outside has been difficult but it turned out okay. I'm going to give it a few days to cure then start masking for the black lower half. I'm waiting on some front tires to finalize the suspension ride height but I'm pretty certain I've got the wheels picked out.

Great job, Kurt. I really like how subtle the rear flares blend in with the body.

Thank you!  Hope you are staying cool.

Now that I took glamor shots, I really am done.  Oh shoot, something else should be fixed.........
