stevez Posted December 24, 2021 Posted December 24, 2021 (edited) Tempest AWB, 57 barnyard find Ford gasser, 41 Packard (35th scale, icm). Edited December 24, 2021 by stevez 1
papajohn97 Posted December 24, 2021 Posted December 24, 2021 That filthy barnyard gasser is outstanding! I particularly love the homemade signage (“Homemade Hell” - what a great name for this car!) the steelies with front whitewalls and the windshield wiper view. Did you learn to do this by building weathered AFV’s or did you just apply those techniques directly to cars? 1

The chassis got real rust, made from a jar of vinegar and steel wool.
tbill Posted December 24, 2021 Posted December 24, 2021 Great group, but that 57 is off the charts! Man, that’s just too cool, you really need to build a barn around that thing…, great job! 1
Phildaupho Posted December 24, 2021 Posted December 24, 2021 Very interesting trio. Neat to see the Packard
bbowser Posted December 24, 2021 Posted December 24, 2021 Great job on the gassers! How was that Packard to build? I have one in the stash.
larman Posted December 24, 2021 Posted December 24, 2021 Nice work! The weathering is very well done on the Ford! Wish they would make the Packard in 1/25, or even 1/24.....

Plowboy Posted December 27, 2021 Posted December 27, 2021 They're all nice! The weathering on the '57 looks so right in every way! I always admire those that can do such realistic weathering.
