BDSchindler Posted March 28 Posted March 28 (edited) Also posted in another thread... Body (while still in primer) ironed out and now the chassis... I'll shift gears (pardon the pun) to the engine and interior. Edited March 28 by BDSchindler 7
FoMoCo66 Posted April 5 Posted April 5 I've been working on this one in the background, it's a MPC 1967 corvette. It's a pretty simple build some modifications includ 6 taillights and the belts, other than that, box stock. I think that it's turning out pretty well. I'm just waiting on lacquer thinner to thin the testors metallic red that's going to go on the car. Thanks for looking! Elliot. 8
Mattblack Posted April 5 Posted April 5 The AMT '37 Chevy coupe I'm grinding my way through, threw the wheels on to give my mojo a boost... 9
GoodbuildNY Posted April 6 Posted April 6 Here’s 2 that are currently in the rotation. The 74 cutlass is a replica of a car my uncle had when I was a kid and the 65 fairlane is a rebuilder I picked up some years ago that I’ve wanted to build for some time now. I’m using a previously built thunderbolt ( that I built when it first came out which has slowly been parted out over time) for mockups and fitting. Eventually I’ll transfer all of that to a new chassis etc. The cutlass will be metallic maroon with a dark red interior. The fairlane likely maroon with a tan interior. 6
KC FitiWerks Posted April 7 Posted April 7 Foose Ford FD-100 Pickup Our club is has a "Club Challenge" every 3 months. This Challenge is "box art". Lol... due at the end of the month. I bought this kit from a club member, missing engine, exhaust, and disc brakes for $10. Having a 3D Printer and a ton of files, I started printing. Ford predator 5.0, tarmac transmission and calipers & rotors. Box Art doesn't show the engine&transmission, so I'm good. I had to lower it about 6mm to get the ride hight the same as the box. Calipers & rotors are the same (drilled & slotted), just larger (more realistic), a mockup engine, for now. Really can't see the interior, so it's going to be maroon & grey. Enjoy the pics 5
Bullybeef Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Playing with plastic again! Trying out some potential next builds. The cabriolet/roadster might be a go. 8

James2 Posted April 15 Posted April 15 It's a tiny mockup, the California Chopper from Revell's 29 Ford PU. 6
carl63_99 Posted April 18 Posted April 18 Hmm, so a Lamborghini v12 wil fit in the engine bay of a 1970 Camaro... When the Aventador is done, this will be my next project. I will have to figure out better wheels/tires, these look way too small. Some work on the intake to make it look more interesting is needed. And of course, the exhaust system will be a challenge. I was even thinking of a pearl pink color. 4

Limeyglue Posted April 20 Posted April 20 AMT 28 Ford sedan I've just started. Found the 32 Ford axle fits nice. A bit of work to get the rear axle in. 8
gtx6970 Posted April 20 Posted April 20 (edited) Was rummaging thru some boxes this week and came across this one. I started this build A T LEAST 10 years ( likely more ) ago Original intention was the Woodward Garage Mule Cuda. But was never able to find the decals to do the car . SO in a box it went. Might have to put this one back on the bench soon and move forward with some kind of plan Best guess right now is just use it for a 1st rendition of the Sox+Martin SS/B car Edited April 23 by gtx6970 6
