Hi all, managed to get out and take some pics of my latest build. Chopped 32 Ford coupe, channeled the body over the chassis and modified the front & rear suspension for a lower stance, fabricated firewall & floorpan, lowered the grille inline with the cowl. Running an injected Hemi, finished in Tamiya Titanium Silver with black interior. Thanks for looking.

Beautiful looking paint finish. I like the stance and the wide whites on steel wheels look perfect on this build.

Very cool build. The color combo is very subtle, and you did a nice job of combining new and traditional design elements. Very nicely done.

What did you use for wheels and tires?

Oh yeah...best rod I've seen in a long time.   B)

Proportions are right. Stance is right. Parts choices are right. Even the angle the engine is installed at is right.

Nice.   :D

EDIT: Oops...one minor caveat. The port spacing on the headers is only correct for a Buick "nailhead" engine. The Chrysler that's in there would have evenly spaced exhaust ports / primary pipes.

This build is SO good, that seemingly little thing kinda jumps out.

And I'll gladly send you the right headers if you don't have 'em.

EDIT 2: Actually, the port spacing on the intake manifold would be even on a Chrysler too. Not quite as noticeable though.

One more thing...I'm NOT criticizing your build. Overall it's as close to perfect design-wise as it gets.

Boy that's a clean looking little Hot Rod.  That Tamiya Titanium Silver polished up really nice.  Great job.

That turned out really cool. Great stance and proportions. The color choice looks awesome, too. Not a color I’ve ever seen used on a scale hot rod before but it sure does work!

Nick, ya killin' me!  That thing is stunning!  My favourite bit is the colour match between the wheels and the body - so balanced!  Can't wait to see this in the flesh!

Cheers
