crazyjim Posted May 31, 2022 Posted May 31, 2022 Just finished this '57 Ford Del Rio long roof. Finish is black primer and Tru-Color dark Titanium. The only chrome I left is the parts box wheels and polished aluminum exhaust tips. 1
crazyjim Posted June 1, 2022 Author Posted June 1, 2022 Thank you Ray, Bob, Howard, Anthony, James, and David. Our club - Florida Auto & Scale Trucks is getting ready to do a Beachin' Rides display at the LHS. Hence this build.
happy grumpy Posted June 1, 2022 Posted June 1, 2022 Beautiful Rio. Great color choice, I like the black trim treatment.
papajohn97 Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 Nice job Jim, the blacked-out chrome on this titanium/black two-tone looks sweet. I love love love this Revell kit, one of their best, wished I bought more than one when they were still cheap!
Leica007 Posted June 3, 2022 Posted June 3, 2022 The outdoor shot really shows the quality of your paint job, very nice. Like the black chrome treatment too.
RAMBENNA Posted June 3, 2022 Posted June 3, 2022 very nicely done, looks great. great colors. love it
Steve H Posted June 3, 2022 Posted June 3, 2022 Hi Jim! Really like that colour combo. The blacked out trim looks fantastic. And the paint….”shiny”….. great job. Something timeless about a surf wagon. Cheers, Steve
bisc63 Posted June 3, 2022 Posted June 3, 2022 Nice build! Blacked out trim takes me back to the 80s. We don't see enough of this kit built on here!
crazyjim Posted June 3, 2022 Author Posted June 3, 2022 Thank you Lei, Cliff, Steve, Bill, and Rusty. It's a very nice kit to work with.
