Phildaupho Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 Super good looking Chevy Deuce Hot Rod and very well built. I like it a lot!! 1
Street Rod Posted July 28, 2022 Posted July 28, 2022 Very clean build! Looks like an old school hot rod. ? 1
Koellefornia Kid Posted July 28, 2022 Posted July 28, 2022 Hot rodded ´32 Chevies are a rare sight, especially when done as nice as this one! Great build, Roger! 1
mrm Posted July 28, 2022 Posted July 28, 2022 Came out great. The stance is perfect and the simple black and white color combo works great. I love the red frame underneath it, altho I am not sure how I feel about the red spreader bar. I don't see many of these Chevies and even less hot rodded. Both in 1:1 and in scale. It looks gangster cool in a way. 1

I wonder if the mold still exists, I'd love to see it released again. From what I've read, that even though both Ford and Chevy built about a quarter of a million cars in 1932, the reason that Chevys didn't last is that they used a lot of wood in the framing and they became termite homes and/or rotted away and bodies fell apart. Fords, using more metal, held up better of the long term. -RRR Yeah, it's the MPC kit. I should have mentioned that. Thanx for the info! When I did my research, I was surprised at how little this car is represented. But, I didn't do a great deal of research. If one compared stock to stock, I think the Chevrolet would have had an edge. Especially in the ride and handling department with it's springs on all four corners. Looks wise, it looks like a smaller version of a Cadillac to me.

Dennis Lacy Posted July 31, 2022 Posted July 31, 2022 I just love this! It has the right look from every angle. Stance, proportions, wheels & tires. All on the money. I also like the restraint you showed such as the simple single carb small block. Looks like it would be a nice driver. 1
bill-e-boy Posted July 31, 2022 Posted July 31, 2022 Roger - a very nice clean build up of a rarely built kit. All the mods you have made just look like the kit came that way, so kudos. Nice to see a different take on the 1932's 90th anniversary 1
TransAmMike Posted July 31, 2022 Posted July 31, 2022 Seems I missed this one Roger. Darn nice unusual build. Great job?? 1
Ace-Garageguy Posted July 31, 2022 Posted July 31, 2022 Beautifully clean, well turned out, subtle and low key. In short, very nice indeed. 1
Mr. Metallic Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 Perfect stance, and great color combo. I love the detail of the red frame peeking out from under the bodywork. 1
alan barton Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 The black and white contrast is sooooo sharp! I build a cabrio years ago but it is now in a very dated style - this might be the inspiration for a freshen up! Cheers Alan 1
Dave Darby Posted September 6, 2022 Posted September 6, 2022 You nailed that one! You make me want to pick one up myself! 1
