Michael F Posted January 8, 2024 Posted January 8, 2024 I wanted to do this one for a long time, a fictional Carsini winery truck from the ´Columbo´ crime series. The Chevy cab and engine are from the amt kit and these great looking wheels are from scenes unlimited. I stole the chassis from the Revell Opel Blitz kit. Everything else is from the partsbox or scratchbuilt from Evergreen styrene and real wood. 13
hct728(Bob) Posted January 8, 2024 Posted January 8, 2024 (edited) My compliments on a very realistic model! Amazing workmanship on the stakebed and the effective weathering on the cab and body! You have some great woodworking skills! Edited January 8, 2024 by hct728(Bob)
espo Posted January 8, 2024 Posted January 8, 2024 Great looking Vinyard Flatbed. Like the flat bed and side boards.
Zippi Posted January 9, 2024 Posted January 9, 2024 I'm really diggin this ole 50 Chevy Winery truck. These ole AD trucks were work horses. Nicely done man.
Bainford Posted January 17, 2024 Posted January 17, 2024 Great looking old Chevy work truck. The weathering is very authentic, not overdone.
Onnie Posted February 13, 2024 Posted February 13, 2024 Love it, especially the "thriftmaster six"! Where can I get one? Not familiar with the kits mentioned.
NOBLNG Posted February 14, 2024 Posted February 14, 2024 Excellent work Michael ! All the details look very realistic.?

Don, i used this AMT kit for this one, comes with the Thrift Master inline six. I changed one thing on the engine: i installed an oilfillercap to the valvecover instead of the oilfiller tube on the side of the engine. Edited February 17, 2024 by Michael F
Jon Cole Posted April 19, 2024 Posted April 19, 2024 Nice, detailed rig❕ Twisted wires in engine bay... even detailed the hood latch. And, just enough grime, wear and tear. 1
