Started this AMT 34 coupe a while ago. First thing I did was fit a Revell 32 Ford front crossmember and axle and made up some shocks using shortened Revell 29 shocks and chassis mounts.

The rear axle was made using centre section from the Tony Nancy drag car and the axle bells, split wishbones and spring from the Yellow fever Topolino with scratch built shocks mounted on an AMT 28 Ford crossmember.

Wheels are from 3D scale parts with the front tyres from the Yellow fever and the rear slicks from the Revell 68 Dodge Dart.

Engine is from the Revell 62 Impala with scratch built engine and gearbox mounts.

The body is from Drag City Casting with the kit fenders and hood.

Thanks for looking Lee

I'm really like the looks of the front end you got there Lee.  Love these body styles with the fat fenders.  Your off and running with a good start man.

I am going to steal some of your ideas, they are simple and clean. I have one started too, I really have not got that far with it, so I can go back a few steps. I have the same body and the interior tub is a good fit.

I got the SBC built, I also have a VCG Resins 409 on hand. It has a good look in these cars. I've been gathering various hotrod parts and it is tome to do a deep dive into them, I have been hoarding the best-of-the-best parts and I'm not getting any younger.

I think we all have the same idea. I've got loads on the shelf with parts I've collected just waiting for me to build them.

Like the chassis modifications and the Resin body has a good-looking roof height. The gap between the rear of the hood and the body shouldn't be too hard to correct.

Already has a nice look, the finish will take it right over the top! Love the simple but cleanly executed details. You clearly have a plan!

Small update.

Got some colour on the body and parts. Now to add detail paint and leave the body for a few days before clear

You're making quick work on this one. Beautiful job. I gotta get one of those bodies... -RRR

Not really. Started about a year ago! I only got interested in it again after seeing Ed's body.

That's going to shine like a new penny when you hit it with the clear.

Hopefully!! As long as I don't mess it up.
