That time of year. I hope others will follow and post their's

A very productive year for me. I usually only build for about 6 months a year, mainly taking the summer off to dedicate myself in ruining my golf handicap. So this year I kept on building while still laboring on the golf course and upped my production of 4-5 to a record grand total of 7. I usually alternated between OOBish builds and more challenging ones. Easiest was definitely the OOB Lancia Stratos and the hardest was my foolish effort to make the ESCI Ferrari SWB look like... a Ferrari SWB.

I am so happy I discovered the hobby and this forum about 7 years ago. The exchanges with such a classy and talented group of peers has provided perhaps even more enjoyment than actually building the models. So thank you all for the teaching, information, opinions and humour. Happy holidays friends!

None of this year's models seem to have suffered from your concentration on your golf handicap. All are very well done and under par...which is a compliment!

A nice string of builds there, Pierre.  I think the yellow SWB stands out to me as the most eye catching.  I thoroughly enjoy your build threads where you discuss the particular challenges of the builds and show your approach to overcoming them.  And it blows my mind that you do all the painting with a hairy stick!

I made a similar list of models completed this year - 6 planes, 4 cars, and one tank!

Looking forward to seeing more of your work in the coming year.

Superb! My favorite is the Stratos, that as a rally marshall in the day I saw it quite a few times!

Really beautiful models, Pierre, always, look forward to them, and it is absolutely not your fault that the 250 GT's tail section looks like a Costin Maserati 450 S ... or is that just me ? :-))

Thank you all for taking the time to review and comment. I presented these not in chronological but least to most liked projects. Turns out my 3 favorites were the ones giving me the biggest challenges because the kits were either grossly inaccurate (AMT/ESCI Ferrari) or extensive modifications/fabrication were required to achieve a specific car I wanted to replicate (300SLR, BMW3.5csl).

A good exercise because it helps me set objectives for 2025. I plan to build less (3-4) but focus on more complicated projects I really want to do despite the fear of the challenge. Happy 2025 build year fellow modelers!

Just want you to know how much I appreciate your sharing your work and accomplishments in 2024.

When I started in the hobby and joined this forum just a few years ago you helped me figure out the various Cobra kits and from there we got going. You helped me a lot and now I hope some bit of what I share might help a few others. Exchange of information and learnings  is the essence of this forum. Happy new year Gary and I hope you'll be posting many of your classics in 2025.
