Sam I Am Posted January 7 Posted January 7 2025 is off to a better start. This resin body was a pain to get everything to fit. But, it only took two years off and on to finish. 18
Chuckyg1 Posted January 7 Posted January 7 Very nice, like the two tone. Is that the Flintstone body? I have it in my stash, but have never worked with a resin body. I'll get to it at some point. Looks really nice next to the El Camino.
Sam I Am Posted January 7 Author Posted January 7 Thanks everyone! Yes, it's the Flintstone body. All I can say is you need to do a lot of trimming to different parts of the chassis to get it to fit right.
espo Posted January 7 Posted January 7 I saw this in the background of your El Camino post and was wondering about it as well. Resin bodies can sometimes be a challenge since they are often thicker than the plastic bodies they may be based upon. The paint colors and finishes look great and like the B-B-Q livery. I like the cleanly done chrome trim and the rally wheels.
mustang1989 Posted January 7 Posted January 7 Man that is frickin' SHARP!! Your hard work sure paid off on this one Sam. Love the wheel/ tire combo on this car.
Radretireddad Posted January 7 Posted January 7 (edited) Very cool builds. I would love to see Revell kit this version. Edited January 7 by Radretireddad

alan barton Posted January 11 Posted January 11 So nice. I have the Flintstone body and some years ago I started a conversion using the BAd Actor roof on an AMT Elky body. Lots of work ahead of me but this model definitely provides some inspiration. Cheers Alan
Zippi Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Those two Chevy's look Super nice setting there Sam. I'm diggin the Delivery.
TarheelRick Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Nice couple of Chevys Sam. That two-tone really fits the Sedan Delivery well. Are my old eyes playing tricks on me or is the SD chopped? That windshield sure is long and laid back.
XYHARRY Posted January 15 Posted January 15 Two very nice builds there Sam, both present very well and for some strange reason I suddenly feel like Bar-B-Q . 😁 Cheers, David. 😎👍
