More paints from Splash. The two little ones are part of the small line of Land Rover colors Sam has decided to do - for the new(ish at this point) RevellAG kit from two years ago. The bigger bottle is a custom mix of 1988 Toyota Dark Blue Pearl for the Hasegawa MR2.

Finally got one of my grail kits that I probably paid WAY too much for, but it's a grail after all, and that's what happens.  I'm a sucker for '60's TV show stuff....

Went to visit a local friend he said he had some of those ugly cars that I like. 
there are a couple of neat survivors there, most of it is pure glue bomb junk, but I had fun digging through his bins for all this treasure. A vast majority I will possibly trade off.

Nice haul! That Monogram Model A Phaeton is one I wish would get reissued.

Some more 3D printed rims/tyres, this time in a Minilite design, wides for the rear and narrower ones for the front with disks to suit..

They will fit most things 1/24 or 1/25 scale. Perhaps on a Lotus 7 in build at present or a Porsche 914 or most anything else with a sporty feel!

Well it finally came today. The vintage Monogram squarebody Blazer kit I was waiting for. It's molded in this maroon color which doesn't look as bad as I imagined it would but I already decided on an orange. Here I up mocked it up with the super swampers.

Scott8950 sent me this rough little C2 Corvette body, rather than throw it out. It's the kind of thing I really enjoy building into something cool.

First thing I thought of when I saw it was another vintage M/SP "what if" drag car, in the same vein as this:

After a little internet digging, I found this crazy thing. I think we have a vision forming...

I can't wait to see what you do with it. It's always good to see something that is junk turned into something cool. I love seeing these old cars saved.

I took advantage of a surprise day off work and went to my LHS. They had two of the three kits I was looking for. Real nice kits you bought.  I have yet to see a hobby Lobby stock that great…..

Looks like Colonial! I haven't been there in a while, need to hit them up soon. Be a good excuse to go look at camera gear too.
