Developing a passion for LSR. Found these 4 Hawk/Testors sealed streamliner kits on eBay, CAD$80 for the lot including shipping from GB. These are very simple toys (rubber band powered) and sold as 1/32 but they are a good fit for 1/25 1950's style streamliners (see size comparison to Ferrari 275P). Essentially these are only body shells and absolutely everything underneath needs to be fabricated. My kind of project!

I almost bought those wheels, but here in NH, the ones that come with the kit are the ones on our state cruisers. Unmarked use the same, or the full hubcap. I am not sure if it based on year or option package.

The kit wheels are for the AWD 3.6L version, but the kit is a RWD 5.7L. Your cruisers are probably AWD. Here in California, it appears that we have both because I see both styles on the road.

Actually, they are 5.7 AWD. I was never sure why some got one wheel, and others got a different wheel. Now I know Thanks for the info.

After picking up the 2022 Corvette yesterday, I found myself adopting another one to give a warm safe home today. Don't ask me why I like these cars. I would need another thread, a shot, and some time on a couch to explain it.

Went to see my friend Ron at RMR. Spent a couple days learning more about making molds and casting. Which means I finally got around to making a mold for the Suburban engine bay!!

Also went shopping and made some stuff while there....LOTS of 64 C-10 parts and kits now, other parts/kits.

If they are, they are old. Dodge last built a 5.7 AWD Charger in 2020.

At 1/2 price on ebay UK: Having built one with timber decal sides etc. I shall do this as a poor renovate with runny gloss grey brush paint!

Round2 Cat Bulldozer and Lowboy trailer. Huge Box!

But, I need to get in touch with Round2. The Decals, are misprinted, right out of the box. Makes me sad.

Also, I if there were ever two kits that don't need Chrome Plated parts, these two are them.

Round2, please don't chrome the Cat Dozer parts next time out.

Two great looking kits, I wouldn’t mind building one myself…

Not too sure year. I know what I know, and I don't know no more. LOL

Well, it's official, I finally have one of my three holy grail kits, the 1960 Plymouth Wagon kit. Had my aunt down in southern Ont. pick it up so I won't actually get it in my possesion until later July or early August, but just knowing it's 100% mine already is just awesome. Though I do owe her $60. It is complete and still has I believe all the parts on the trees. Here's the pic she sent me.

Got this lot from eBay very cheap. Yes, parts are missing here and there but that gives me the mental green light to modify to my tastes.

Patent Pending is complete minus wheels and tires and a few minor things. Glue on some parts but not too much, so it will be easy disassembly.

Riviera appears complete with an extra chassis and tub. Body is molded in gray but the rest is yellow. I'm guessing a different issue was molded entirely in gray.

No motor in the International. Time to fire up the printer!

The Lambo appears complete, but I have little to no interest in it, so it may be a parts kit or trade fodder.

The McLaren sadly has no body, but maybe I can find a print file for that too...

I made an offer on this lot and got them cheaply as well! Both complete in open boxes. Sure the 64 is not the new Moebius offering but I like the old kits equally, for different qualities.s-l1601.jpg.7525d58fa8d2faeddd9f97a7c13eb71a.jpg

Since Wild Bill's Hobby in Arlington Texas got bought out by Hobby Town some of the local Dallas/Fort Worth HT branches have started carrying some old stock kits. It this only a local thing?

While in town today, I went to one in Hurst that I haven't visited before and came across this kit. It's something I've low-key been wanting for a while and for the price I couldn't say no. They also had some of the Doyusha Nostalgia Series kits that now I wish I'd gotten. They had the 73 Toyota Corona, a Mazda, and a 70 Honda 1300 99S.
