RSchnell Posted February 12, 2022 Posted February 12, 2022 Ordered some aircraft kits and picked these up while I was at it. They were waiting on me when I got home tonight!
niteowl7710 Posted February 12, 2022 Posted February 12, 2022 More paints from Splash. The two little ones are part of the small line of Land Rover colors Sam has decided to do - for the new(ish at this point) RevellAG kit from two years ago. The bigger bottle is a custom mix of 1988 Toyota Dark Blue Pearl for the Hasegawa MR2. 2
hedotwo Posted February 12, 2022 Posted February 12, 2022 Finally got one of my grail kits that I probably paid WAY too much for, but it's a grail after all, and that's what happens. I'm a sucker for '60's TV show stuff.... 2
kelson Posted February 12, 2022 Posted February 12, 2022 Was at the hobbyshop yesterday and bought some builtups from the collection they bought a few weeks ago,got these for $5 dollars a piece, will be chassis donors for some of my vintage challenger/charger and GTO kits, glad to score another Monte Carlo.? 1
Bullybeef Posted February 13, 2022 Posted February 13, 2022 Went to visit a local friend he said he had some of those ugly cars that I like. there are a couple of neat survivors there, most of it is pure glue bomb junk, but I had fun digging through his bins for all this treasure. A vast majority I will possibly trade off. 2

tbill Posted February 13, 2022 Posted February 13, 2022 Hit hobby lobby yesterday, couple kits, new cutting mats and some other odds and ends 1
Cool Hand Posted February 14, 2022 Posted February 14, 2022 Some supplies from BNA Model World. Kits, set of wheels and supplies from Rhypla Builds. 1
OldNYJim Posted February 14, 2022 Posted February 14, 2022 Valentine’s gift from my sweetie! She did good! 1

PatW Posted February 14, 2022 Posted February 14, 2022 Some more 3D printed rims/tyres, this time in a Minilite design, wides for the rear and narrower ones for the front with disks to suit.. They will fit most things 1/24 or 1/25 scale. Perhaps on a Lotus 7 in build at present or a Porsche 914 or most anything else with a sporty feel! 2
Mike C. Posted February 14, 2022 Posted February 14, 2022 Well it finally came today. The vintage Monogram squarebody Blazer kit I was waiting for. I'm really excited about this one. At first I got nervous because the factory sealing looked a little off like somebody had faked it and when I checked, everything was there. It's molded in this maroon color which doesn't look as bad as I imagined it would but I already decided on an orange. Here I up mocked it up with the super swampers. 2
unclescott58 Posted February 14, 2022 Posted February 14, 2022 A virgin kit, still wrapped in its original plastic. I got it at a reasonable price from a seller on eBay too. It looks very nice. 1

64SS350 Posted February 15, 2022 Posted February 15, 2022 The wheel sets on the top are from Jays wheels , the others are(obviously) from Off The Sprue
Ace-Garageguy Posted February 15, 2022 Posted February 15, 2022 (edited) Scott8950 sent me this rough little C2 Corvette body, rather than throw it out. It's the kind of thing I really enjoy building into something cool. First thing I thought of when I saw it was another vintage M/SP "what if" drag car, in the same vein as this: After a little internet digging, I found this crazy thing. I think we have a vision forming... Edited February 15, 2022 by Ace-Garageguy 2

Tabbysdaddy Posted February 15, 2022 Posted February 15, 2022 I took advantage of a surprise day off work and went to my LHS. They had two of the three kits I was looking for. They will order the other for me if I want, but there's never a shortage of kits I want on the shelf, so I picked a different one. I took a few pictures to show some of what I had to choose from. 4
