Picked this up with a gift certificate at my local shop today.

Pretty plain looking kit but what it doesn't say on the box is there's a nice set of Watanabe wheels[think Minilights] and provisions for lowering it right in the box.

Just add some school bus yellow paint and instant attitude. 😉

My first Promo ever, I had been looking for a Monza kit to build into Grumpy's "Toy XII"and none were very reasonable. Found a 1975 Monza Promo for the project. It was dirty and needed a good cleaning. The glass  surprisingly had less scratches than some kits out of the box (pre bag days)

ive got a local bike shop that sells some model kits very cheap, picked these two up for 13$ each. the T/A is definitely being kept for a build, the impala may end up getting traded if i dont build it in the next year or two.

That's a really nice kit, I enjoyed putting one together a few years ago. As I recall getting the assembled chassis and interior into the bodyshell was a bit tight but it looks great once complete.

As a pensioner kits are expensive enough as it is. I've never understood why folks buy two or more of the same kits.

To build multiple versions or to use some for parts donors for other builds.  Pretty normal.

Thanks for the heads-up on that one.  :D

Picked this up today for $10 at the local flea market. It’s complete except for the wheels and tires.

I don’t need the wheels and tires anyways, since I bought it specifically for doing a build inspired by this picture.

While I normally build GM and some Ford models I also have a fondness for the '68-'70 Mopar B-bodies. I too picked up the '70 Charger for the first time this past week. After examining the kit I realized I'll probably need to get another one.

It’s in my opinion probably one of the best kits Revell has ever made. I’ll probably get a couple more of them and a couple of the 68 & 69 as well

Just in from Japan. I ordered some stuff from Hobby Search and am really happy. I've been wanting the Mitsubishi for a long time to build one like was used in Cannonball Run 2. Ironically, I have an Abarth already that I forgot about. I think I got it around 2000. Obviously I found it again after I'd already paid for the new one. A few years ago I put the old one together quickly but with some new tires. The ones in the box had cracked I guess from age.

Not sure what size the Asuka wheels are, but they look like 15 inch or so.

I was pleasantly surprised that my Revell Land Rover Series III, from Amazon, was actually shipped in a box this time and not just a plastic envelope. Thanks to Zoom Zoom (Bob Downie) I learned that the opacity of Tamiya Base White (85101) was better than that of Tamiya Fine White Surface Primer (87044). I purchased some from a local Gundam focused store, Argama Hobby. These are my final two purchases for this year! LOL

Nice! I got 3 of these. I got 3 because my first one was at hobby lobby @40% off, and than later down the road I found 2 more on clearance there for $8 or $9 each.

Coincidence in that my first one was also from Hobby Lobby when I was down for an NNL East event. $8 and $9 is a steal! LOL
