Brianl Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 This started out as a part started donor kit (thanks Mate) The styling looked very clean without the chrome & screen & it reminded me of an early streamliner so that is what it developed into. Kept the six & supercharged it & I think its the right way to go. Headrest was inspired by a '50's Sebring Corvette I saw on TV recently & I shaped it to tie in with the the tail light fins. They seemed to have kept the paint schemes simple for the streamliners back then but I couldn't resist some flames! Colour is Tamiya Camel Yellow Had a lot of fun doing this one & it looks good on the shelf, something a little different for a Corvette I think. Brian

twopaws Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 That is a great way to think "out of the box". Looks like it would be right at home at any of the old Lakes events.
