This beautiful Boss 302 was just down the road from my place at the local restaurant/bar. You don't see 'em with a Vermillion interior often.

And this 392 Challenger was at a restaurant in town.

Saturday I saw Jay Leno driving his White steamer in Burbank.  Later I saw a really nice 56 Bel Air Sport Sedan.

And a couple more from our block - some sort of Merc that caught my eye, and a nice Rolls Royce - LOVE that red leather roof and interior!

Took our Honda S-2000 in to a local shop today to have a wheel checked, and while I talked to the mechanic, I turned, and up on a hoist behind me was an original, unrestored 1970 Plymouth Super Bird 440 six pack in Hemi Orange!

Fabulous condition, with absolutely no rust, original undercoating and vinyl top.

The underside looked like something that might have been less than 10 years old!

The mechanic told me that it was all original, with only 1 repaint, and a front seat re-upholstery.

Car was supposedly originally sold in Bismark North Dakota.

Guess it's not just all about John Deere around here after all! :D

Unfortunately, I had nothing with me to be able to snap a photo.

Not sure if this belongs here or in the weird car thread, but I came across this thread first . Saw this yesterday while shopping. Kinda cool, mabey they should have done a factory job for the mini pickup crowd.

Not really familiar with year models of the later Corvettes, but saw a red one gaining ground in my rearview,  He was not excessively fast, just slowly inching up.  So I moved over to the right lane.  As it got closer I noticed something askew about the hood.  When he cruised by I got a better look and there was a hole cut off center and the top portion of a large tube was visible for about  a foot or more.  As he passed I saw an emblem on the rear that said Z-06.  Didn't have a camera so I just watched him slowly move on down the road out of sight.

And I don’t know anything much about bikes but this caught my eye:

It was the annual Bike Blessing in Brooklyn today, where they invite local bikers and the pastor gives them a blessing.  I only saw it was happening after it had started, but it was only 4 blocks from our apartment this year so I went for a look...got to see the Indian Larry Ed Roth tribute bike ‘Daddy O’ in person!  A BEAUTIFUL bike, even if I’m more of a car guy than a bike guy...

As Al Roker would say - this is what happened in our neck of the woods this afternoon:

Had a big storm flash over that only lasted about five minutes - and then I heard a huge bang and car alarms going off right outside.  Turns out that 5 minute storm was enough to drop a tree onto a couple of cars - no one hurt, luckily!  BIG weather change to the pics I posted in the post above, yesterday!
