Only ever saw the ‘regular’ size Grumanns or whatever they’re called - it’s cute ? My regular carrier drives one of these Grumman LLVs, but I am seeing more and more of the RAM Promasters around. They are quite a bit larger and THEY HAVE A/C!
NYLIBUD Posted September 19, 2020 Posted September 19, 2020 All at a local car show,until the cops busted us all out of the parking lot.Its held underneath an EL train.
Spottedlaurel Posted September 19, 2020 Posted September 19, 2020 Monto Carlo for me please. By coincidence, a Monte Carlo was one of the few 'proper' American cars I saw when I went to NYC/NJ in 1999: 1976 Chevrolet Monte Carlo by Spottedlaurel, on Flickr

espo Posted September 19, 2020 Posted September 19, 2020 A lot of great looking rides. The gray Road Runner just looks like something you don't really want to mess with.
Rob Hall Posted September 19, 2020 Posted September 19, 2020 That color on the RR reminds me of Winchester Gray which I've seen '70-71 Challengers in.
The Junkman Posted September 19, 2020 Posted September 19, 2020 Not a MOPAR guy but I really like that the RR's owner stayed with the original theme of the car-lower level content and focused on performance. Poverty hubcaps and wheels (no fancy aftermarket-not that there's anything wrong with that), no scooper dooper hood-just a power bulge. Can't see inside but I'd like to think he/she had front bench seats too. Very clean.
OldNYJim Posted September 21, 2020 Posted September 21, 2020 Couple of cool sightings from sunny Indiana this past week;
NYLIBUD Posted September 21, 2020 Posted September 21, 2020 All these were at a local Sunday coffee and cars show yesterday.

Rob Hall Posted September 22, 2020 Posted September 22, 2020 I like that '83-84 Mustang convertible...the TR6 reminds me of my ex-brother-in-law #1's car, he had an orange one he repainted in that same maroon. I remember riding in it as a kid, and that he was always working on it..always had some electrical issue...
BlackSheep214 Posted September 22, 2020 Posted September 22, 2020 A couple simultaneously while I was on the road on my job. To the left at a light, 1957 Thunderbird in black, coming the opposite direction, a 1955 Cameo pick up truck in red. It was a good day to brighten my boring afternoon.
Paintandwrenches Posted September 22, 2020 Posted September 22, 2020 This pulled in today while I was working at a Hobby Lobby. Factory Hemi, power steering, brakes and windows. I needed to take a break anyway. ?

89AKurt Posted September 25, 2020 Posted September 25, 2020 Drive-by photograph, didn't get out to take a closer look, parked at the American Legion.

I remember going in to that American Legion to drop off some non-perishable food for their food closet. It's quite an interesting place......
NYLIBUD Posted September 25, 2020 Posted September 25, 2020 Does this count?Poor little deer.Saw it the other night on my way home.Looks like a pretty big buck.Its breeding season here in NY,they’re everywhere.My friend hit one in his once pristine 67 Charger.Dead deer,dead car.☹️?..

Yea that was one extremely nice Caprice.I wanted a Marauder,but couldn’t find one I liked.So instead I found a very clean black 09 P71,full police package Crown Vic,and blacked everything out.Flow masters added too.The car flies,and sounds awesome.It was an ex FBI detectives car.It’s my Blues Mobile.Low Idling hours and pretty low miles for an 09.

Other than that, a new Tesla I haven't seen before, a couple SRT Jeeps, a G8, and some late model Camaros, that's it. Lots of Muntjac deers here in Norfolk UK, sadly they get run down all the time. There's a Tesla in my village unbelievably ! Lovely car, but so quiet it nearly knocked me down as I was walking the dog , only saw it coz I turned my head as I was about to cross the lane.

As another Norfolk resident I can testify to this. I hit one in my Datsun Laurel once, fortunately both car and deer escaped unscathed.
HomerS Posted September 26, 2020 Posted September 26, 2020 (edited) From the last of the season local cars and coffee...... This is the only way I care to see one of these! (not in the rear view mirror with the light show going on! Edited September 26, 2020 by HomerS
