TarheelRick Posted October 16, 2022 Posted October 16, 2022 Going into town yesterday I passed a real moving Ford Probe. Haven't seen one of those in years, I figured they had all been crushed into Priuses by now. Went to a model show today just for a quick walk through to look for some parts. On the way out had an opportunity to talk to a guy with a cherry, original 64 Nova. He said it was the first car he had ever owned; he was in late 60's early 70's. Said he had over 525K miles on it with the little 6-banger. It was a real survivor, no noticeable rust, interior still in good condition, and a well faded reddish paint job. When he mentioned he was getting 30 mpg, I offered to trade my F-150 for it; this 16.9 and 17.8 is killing me.
sfhess Posted October 16, 2022 Posted October 16, 2022 A little kid saw this across the street from his house and said "I like your car!" 2
Joe Handley Posted October 16, 2022 Posted October 16, 2022 A Tesla Model Y being used as a RFD vehicle and an early 70’s Buick Electra 225 coupe.
cobraman Posted October 16, 2022 Posted October 16, 2022 Saw this 55 in a parking lot . Needs some work but not bad .
sfhess Posted October 16, 2022 Posted October 16, 2022 A pink 65 Galaxie 500 2-door hardtop. Across the front of the hood it said "MAYBELLINE" in chrome block letters
keyser Posted October 16, 2022 Posted October 16, 2022 Maybelline had a Caddy. Chuck Berry was in a Flattie. I thought. Ran hot until it rained. A Fave song. 1
Russell C Posted October 17, 2022 Posted October 17, 2022 At the grocery store after noontime. Didn't get to hear this one, appears to be quite a big air scoop under the front bumper.
Ben Brown Posted October 17, 2022 Posted October 17, 2022 I passed the Bricklin again yesterday at the grocery store. It’s also currently for sale on Bring A Trailer. Ben

iamsuperdan Posted October 17, 2022 Posted October 17, 2022 Had a delivery this morning. We're building up a new service truck for our inventory, and the chassis has completed its 4X4 conversion. It's officially the most badass truck on our lot right now. 2023 F650 Supercab, high hp diesel, air brakes, air ride. 4X4 conversion from Tulsa Truck Mfg, with super singles and military wheels/tires. Soon to be getting a 14ft aluminum service body, 10k crane, and a Raptair compressor/generator unit. Makes my half ton look tiny. 2
Tom Geiger Posted October 17, 2022 Posted October 17, 2022 Got my car inspected.. this was the bunch currently at the hot rod shop across the parking lot.. 1
Tom Geiger Posted October 17, 2022 Posted October 17, 2022 And this one too! Looks like it just got to Pennsylvania from Utah! 2

And if this one had a For Sale sign on it I would have surely inquired! 2

You never know what's going on for someone else and I have even planted a seed for the future on more than one occasion. 1
sfhess Posted October 17, 2022 Posted October 17, 2022 I see a 71 LTD convertible behind the Nove. And is that a Flxible bus behind the Laverkin truck?
keyser Posted October 17, 2022 Posted October 17, 2022 Merc convert. behind Nova scarce, looks like 71-72
Suburban_Hooligan Posted October 17, 2022 Posted October 17, 2022 chassed this down on my way home from work
Chuckyg1 Posted October 17, 2022 Posted October 17, 2022 NI just returned from vacation in Ireland, (Great trip!), and saw the following. The Thames was in a gift shop in Killarney. They look really tiny in person. The Ferrari was in Galway covered with cameras, and the Land Rover was in Doolin. 1
RSchnell Posted October 18, 2022 Posted October 18, 2022 No pic due to traffic but saw an E type Jag Coupe broke down on the side of the road. Probably something to do with the Lucas electric stuff......
Tom Geiger Posted October 18, 2022 Posted October 18, 2022 Yes that was a Flxible! Can’t wait to see what they do with it! And before anyone asks about the 60 Ford in the last photo, here it is Camaro getting the full treatment! I took a few photos since I thought this could be a cool model! Lemme see if I can swing back and see if any of the other mentioned cars are still there! 2

Tabbysdaddy Posted October 18, 2022 Posted October 18, 2022 (edited) That looks like an F150 Moebius edition. Edited October 18, 2022 by Tabbysdaddy 2
Suburban_Hooligan Posted October 18, 2022 Posted October 18, 2022 saw an interesting wrap. there was a granite counter top company name on the bottom of the doors.
