Datsun, forget the model name/number.  Mazda stole the idea for the Miata, but then the Z became legend.  Saw a bunch of other cool cars while driving around, and two Suzuki Samurais.

I'm FAR from a Nissan expert (or even a fan) but the JDM brand name for this was Fairlady.  I think it was sold as the Datsun 1600 and Datsun 2000 in the late '60s/early 70s.  The Fairlady was then became the Datsun 240Z et al.  I've always (semi) regretted not buying a Fairlady 240Z when I was stationed in Tokyo from 1974 to 1976.

I saw three vintage bugattis, 2 dark blue/black roadsters and a coupe, a vintage alvis silver eagle, and car that looked like a blower bentley but about 2/3s to 3/4 size and 2 blue roadsters that I dont know what they were. They were roughly the same size as the bugattis but the grille area was raked back and similar to the auburn cord car. It didn't seem to have a bugatti badge on the grille unless they did black badges along with the red I dont know if the blue colour is a clue as they looked kinda racey. i was shocked how small the bugattis are having only seen a bug based kit before. I really need to take my camera out with me more. I've also seen so many porsche taycans, 911s and cayennes that seeing a porsche isn't exciting anymore in edinburgh. Only seen 1 audi rs e-tron but heaps of the audi rs 4 and 6s. And more tesla taxis than traditional london cabs (the newer ones, not the one thats available as a kit) Next time i'm down this way I'll be going to some industrial museums and a couple of transport museums for buses and trains

Not exactly on the road but this was in the body shop that I took my Pinto to.  Not a motorcycle guy, but you have to appreciate great workmanship and creativity.

thats got a pretty nice flow to it, i can see the fender shapes working well on something 30 or 40s with a sloped back ala 37 sedan

A pristine classic in the wild.  Bank parking lot in Santa Rosa (understandable).  I think the color is Silver Blue Poly but I have not a spec of knowledge regarding Jags of this vintage. Not a particle of dirt on it.  A nice change from BRG.

In its natural environment.  That is a warm weekend, Napa Valley/Calistoga, CA and just parked along the street like a bourgeois.
